I got home that night and sang Alex and jai to sleep I sung k Michelle a mothers prayer

Tomorrow brings new promise so don't worry 'bout today
The first time I saw you
I knew my life had changed

I ran my hands through Alex soft hair and jais curly hair I kissed their heads and turned out the lights as I was walking out I heard Aiden
"momma "
"yes baby "
he sat up in his bed and had a worried look on his face I walked in ,closed his door nd kneeled in front of him
"what's wrong baby"
"I know what dad does"
"what do you mean"
"...he beats you"
I could see his eyes start to swell with tears I touched his face
"he's getting help baby"
he shook his head ,he knew I was lying
"I heard him hitting you through the walls , I heard you crying ..."
he stopped and took a breath as tears fell down his cheeks and his little face turned red ,I noticed he had his hand bawled up into a fist I grabbed his hands
"I'm so sorry you had to hear that baby "
"it angered me so much momma , I wanted to come in and kill him ... I want to kill him every time I see his face or hear his voice "
by this time I started crying with him he busted out into tears and said
"I need help momma I'm scared "
I hugged him as he sobed into my chest ,I cried with him , kissing his head and telling him it was going to be ohkay .. that night was the first night my oldest baby cried his self to sleep since he was kid , I laid him down nd cried harder when I saw his puffy eyes .. this was my fault , my fault that my family is so fucked up ..maybe I should give jai back , I've already scared one of my kids I don't want to put the others through the same

I actually almost cried imagining this actually happen ... am I the only one 😳 ?
