The One ••(ON HOLD TILL FURTHER NOTICE)••

Chapter 1

"Damn it Chels what was that for" I say as my bestfriend plucks me upside my head. I was telling her about my break up with Sal and next thing I know she hits me.

"You know exactly why" Chels says with narrowed eyes. I thought to myself....... Then that's when I snapped my fingers. "Oh I am so sorry i should of told you earlier!" I just realize this had happened like 3 weeks ago and I hadn't told her yet but I had told others the day of.

"Yea I bet your sorry I'm your bestfriend, like seriously" Chels says hitting me again. I didn't necessarily have to tell her so she shouldn't be getting upset. It's my life I do what I want. "Ouch!! My bad for not informing you about my life." Chels had looked upset and stormed off. But I knew she'll get over like she always does. She can never stay mad at me since pre-school.

I just walked down the hall to my locker I whisper '3, 26, 6' off my I.D. I have to keep it there because I have bad memory of remembering combinations. I quickly had glanced to the left to see someone walking towards me.... Sal. I had quickly hid my face in my locker hoping he wouldn't see me. "Hey Khristina!" I hear a familiar voice call out. I turn to see Sal's big bright green eyes staring at me. Shit he saw me. "Heyyyy." I say as my voice cracks.

Why does he seem so happy? "So how's it been" he asked. What?!?! he acting like nothing has happy these past few weeks. He acts as if everthing is normal. So I'll just play along. "Nothing much, you?" Before you answer that answer this. Why are so happy?" I ask him with frowned eyebrows.

He looks at me confused and with his head tilt. I always loved when he did that. He looked so cute like a puppy. Then a large smile appears on his perfect chiseled face. "I'm happy to see your beautiful face. I know we broke up but... I still love you." Your probably wondering why we broke up. It's because I was tutoring this simi attractive boy and that's when Sal had came and opened the door to the house.

He has a key because our family is very, very close. That's when he saw the boy I was tutoring and froze and said we were over. He didn't let me explain. "I still love u too, but we can't be together if your gonna be over protective." He just nods to agree with me looking down at his feet. I cup his cheek to make him look at me. "Do you think you can give me another chance, Khristina?" I kinda look at him with shock.

"I don't think that's a good idea, not at the moment." i say in a disappointed tone. He walks away mouthing the word 'bye'. I would give another chance but I don't think after a few weeks u should ask that. "Ringgg" I jolted as I heard the bell ring for last period classes. Did I just stand here talking to him for a whole period and ignore the late bell. I collect all my stuff out of my locker and walk out to the parking lo to see Chels leaning on my car. "Where were you last period?!?"

She says pointing her finger into my chest. "I was talking to Sal!" She drops the being mad look and switches for a 'ohhhhhh' look. "So what happened back there?" she asked as we hopped in my car to drive to my house. "I just talked to him why we can get back together." "Oh that's it, nothing else?" she looks at me puzzled.

"Yup nothing bigger." On the way to my house we just sit there singing along to the radio to, Beware by Big Sean , slow down by Selena Gomez, all me by Drake, and hold on we're going home by Drake. We come to halt as I pull my car into park. We run inside greeting my parents like always, then to my room. "So what you wanna do Khristina?" she asks hopping on my bed. "Ummm... I guess call the other girls and ask to go to the movies?" "alright we can do that" Chels answers.

We took out our iPhones and called: Mari, Sy, Jade, Kay, Mile, and Geny. We all go by our nicknames, sometimes me, mine is Khriss. There real names are Maricarmen, Syeda, Jādah, Kayla, Milena, and Genesis. All the girls had accepted the requests. We drove to nearest theatre in Pinole, California. We all met up at the theatre around 6:40 p.m. I had noticed someone gorgeous in the distance.

A boy. He had bright, baby blue eyes, with dirty blonde hair swept back. He was nice and had visible abs through his muscle tank. He had sent me a quick glance with a smirk. He noticed me staring at him from across the building. I felt my cheeks heat up from blushing. I knew my cheeks were getting bright red.

Then one of my friend Jade had snapped her fingers in my face saying " what are you looking at?!" I had looked at her and said "nothing." But when I turned back to see if he was there he had already disappeared. We had walked to the booth to get out tickets "8 please" Kay says. On our way I see the boy again as soon as I get dragged by Mari into the theatre. I'm glad they didn't bother asking who or what I was looking at. We had went to see Carrie. It was known as the scariest movie of 2013; I didn't believe it because when it was over I didn't think so; but if was good.

"Hey so khristina what were you actually looking at those two times?" Sy had asked. Shit! I had whispered under breath in a low tone. I didn't wanna tell them at the moment but I guess I had too. "Um..well there was this boy that was like the perfect guy. Everything about him was-

Before I could finish Sy had cut me off. "Oh, did he have, bright, baby blue eyes, with dirty blonde hair swept back, and abs?" My eyes had filled with shock. As I crept out a "y-y-yea." she had answered back " oh his name is Tanner he just transferred to our school, St. Anderson's a week ago." It felt like my eyes were gonna pop out of their sockets. I thought she must have been joking for a second, but I saw the straight face, and then I knew she wasn't joking.
