Chapter 2

I can't believe my dad cares about Bitchy Missy more than me! I am his own daughter, and she attacked me. Ugh! Whatever! I dont need him or his stupid little slutty wife. 

I walk out of the school heading to one spot i know i can clear my head and stay out of trouble. The pond in the woods. I get to my car starting the engine roaring it to life.  I speed out of the parking lot getting onto the highway. 

I finally get to the woods parking my car as far as it would go. I get out grabbing my phone and my car keys. I walk down to the pond sitting on the log that i carved my name in. I sigh sitting down tracing my fingers over the other name on the log. 

Maya

Tears start to sting my eyes as i look at the name. Why did it have to have to happen? She was suppose to be by my side for my whole life! But then that stupid ass drunk driver had to run into my mom's car when they were on their way home! 

I lost everything! I lost my best friend/sister, my little brother, and my mother! I was crushed when my dad called me last year telling me to come to the hospital. No one survived but the drunk driver. They even let him walk away like nothing happened! 

Tears start to slide down my cheeks as i remember what happened just last year. My dad didn't even care that his own wife and son died!

*FLASHBACK*

"Riley meet your Step-Mom!" he exclaimed gesturing to the blonde headed girl that was dressed in short shorts and a crop top. 

"Hi! Im Stephany! I love your father so much!" she exclaimed wrapping her arms around his neck smiling at me. 

"WHAT! No wait dad mom just died two days ago! And now you're telling me i have a new mom!" I yell at him. 

"Oh my! Don't you have an attitude!"  Stephany exclaimed rolling her eyes in discus. "I dont like little girls that have attitudes!" She says smacking her gum at him. 

"Shut Up! My mom just died two days ago and now my dad has a whore as a wife! How long have you guys been together?" I ask my father.

"You watch your mouth! You are grounded! And we have been together for two years now! Your mother was boring me! Now go to your room!" He yells the first part pointing up to my room. 

"Your an asshole! Your son just died and your wife and you dont even care!" I yell running up to my room crying. "Maya i need you right now! Why couldn't i have been in the car with you guys!" I mumble crying.

*FLASHBACK OVER*

I quickly wipe my tears away standing up walking back to my car. I sit in my car thinking about things until i realize it is 5:30 pm.

"Shit!" I mumble quickly starting my car and speeding out of the woods and on to the highway on my way home. Great that means that once i get home my dad is going to be pissed for three reasons. Reason 1, I ran out of the school and i never came back. Reason 2, I shoved Stephany. And the final reason, because we have dinner with our new neighbors tonight and i had to start to get ready at 5:00. 

I get to my house quickly park my car, turning it off and getting out. I run into the house only to be meeted with my very unhappy father. "Where the hell have you been!" He asked in a deep dark voice.

"I was at my spot!" I said walking up the stairs. "You know the one where me and Maya use to go and we carved our names into the log!" I yelled slamming my bedroom door. I go threw my closet looking for something to wear. 

These are the times i really wish my mom or Maya were here. They could put anything together and make it look cute. I pick out a cute dress that hugs my curves and it is black. I grab some black and red laced underwear with a matching bra and walk into the bathroom.
