From Dusk Till Dawn

The Party

It was a dark and chilly night. We were all in the cabin, getting ready to prank Mermaid but we didn't know anything bad would happen.. but damn were we wrong..

Black's P.O.V.

I sighed, looking around and seeing that Masky, Alex, and Rayne were around. I could hear Masky starting to talk. "Aww.. this is gonna be so good!"
"Shhh!" Alex shushed Masky and giggled as I started to get a little fed up.
"Don't you think this is a little cruel? Not even a little.. a lot?" "Come on Black.. she deserves it!" "Well it's not my fault she has a huge crush on Rayne!"
"Mermaid has been making moves on him. I'm just looking out for Masky." I watched Alex walk away into the next room, my heart thumping gently. Everyone started to go in before me and Masky spoke softly.
"Just because he's Class Prez, doesn't mean he belongs to everyone.. Rayne is my man." "Masky, I'm not anybody's man.." "Whatever you say!" I could hear the conversation and only shook my head following them and eventually getting ahead. Hmm.. I really don't like this.. I quietly walked up the stairs in the cabin, looking a little bit freaked out since I really didn't want to do this prank.. it was all too cruel. I opened a door and stood, starting to cup my hands to create more of an echo.
"Mermaid! Rayne wants to see you..!" I hurried off so she wouldn't see me and heard voices. 

Rayne's P.O.V.

I stood in the room and waited for everyone to hide, hearing Masky laughing and talking in a hushed voice
"Shh! Everyone, she's here.." "Rayne? Rayne? It's Mermaid.." I put on a smile, standing a bit awkwardly and started to walk towards her.
"Hey Mermaid.."

Joker's P.O.V.

I stood by the sink and looked at the windows. It was dark.. there was a storm. I thought I saw something move and I started to get chills, starting to back away from the window.
"Did you see that..? I thought dad said it would just be us.. Ash?" I shrugged and started to walk around, looking at some of the stuff and noticing a note on the counter.
"The hell?" I walked over and gently picked it up, reading it over as it was a note from Rayne.

"Oh my god.. are you kidding me? What did our naive sister get herself into now?" I looked over at Ash who seemed to be fast asleep but I wasn't sure.

Rayne's P.O.V.

"I got your note.."
"Glad you could make it." I smiled and continued to move closer as the others were all trying their best to be quiet. I could see she was a little nervous and the plan was going well. I spoke up after a little silence.
"Maybe we should.. go with a little making out and then see where it leads from there..?" She might have ignored what I said or was too excited to be with me because she started to unbutton her shirt and I felt shivers running down my spine.
"Oh my god! She's taking her shirt off.." Alex blurted out as I tried to stay quiet but Mermaid already noticed.
"What?! Oh my god! Virus? What are all of you doing in here?!"
"Uh.. I'm sorry!" Black opened the door and stared right at Mermaid, looking guilty as hell.
"Mermaid.. it's just a stupid prank.." We watched her leave and I started to feel the guilt running down my whole body along with shivers as I cursed under my breath.
"You guys are jerks, you know that? Mermaid!"

Joker's P.O.V.

I saw Mermaid run out of the house into the dark night and I gasped, starting to back up from the counter where the note was. Should I try and wake Ash or find the others? There was no time.. I went over to Ash and started to shake her gently.
"Ash! ASH! Fucking hell.." I ran off towards the door and looked around.
"Guys! There's someone outside. What the hell?" I walked around, seeing no one was around and picked up my jacket, putting it on. I heard everyone going to the door to meet up.
"Mermaid!" Black called out in a shaking tone as I looked at him. "What the hell is going on? Where did my sister go?"
"It's fine.. she just can't take a joke.." Alex said in a slightly annoyed voice but he seemed worried at the same time. A joke? Do they mean that damn prank? "It was just a prank, Merm!" Masky said into the cold night as I looked over at her, starting to get angry.
"What the hell did you guys do exactly?"
"We were just messing around! It wasn't meant to be taken seriously.." Rayne spoke in a casual and scared tone as I roughly pushed him away and started to run off.
"You JERKS!" I ran into the cold night and tried to follow where Mermaid had gone. I ran and almost got caught in something.
"Shit!" I dodged it and ran faster, hopping over a log and gasping slightly. I eventually stopped at a slight fork in the road. One path was safer.. but that'd probably take too much time. There was a dangerous path but it looked faster.. I took the safe route and climbed down the stairs somewhat quickly, trying not to trip over any of the steps.
