Killian
Killian was confused, very confused, all he knew is the blonde women seemed very upset and he didn't like to see her upset.
"What do you mean, he can't remember?" She whispered harshly to the man, David. He assumed they were talking about him, since it seemed he couldn't remember anything except his name.
"Emma, calm down." David said. Emma was her name beautiful name, Killian thought.
"Um,excuse me." they both turned to him, "may I have a drink. Anything you have is fine." he asked. Emma's eyes softened and she nodded as she grabbed him a glass of water.
"Thank you." he said.
"Emma, I'm going to the school to meet your mom." David said. And he left leaving him and Emma alone. He noticed that the edges of things where fuzzy.
"Are you okay?" Emma asked.
"Um, other than the obvious, why?" he asked. She stepped closer to him.
"Because you keep blinking."
"Well it's just, things are a little... fuzzy."
"Wait right here I think I have something that might help." Emma said as she ran upstairs. She was really beautiful, he blonde hair rested on her shoulders without effort, her green eyes confused him, the lured him to her but they also scared him. She was a confusing women, she was like a siren, is she luring him to his doom? Her loud footsteps broke his thought and she came down the stairs. She had a little box in her hand.
"Here." she said as she handed him the little box. He opened the box and inside there was a pair of glasses (A/N like the ones hipsters wear) and he put them on and to his surprise everything became shaper. He looked at Emma and could see her eyes, they weren't green but they weren't blue they were a marvellous combination of both with gold specks, eyes even a princess would be envious of.
Emma
She looked at him, with the glasses and tried not to laugh. She never knew he need glasses but it was cute. Suddenly Emma felt a wave of sadness hit her. Killian, he has no memory, no memories of her. Wasn't once enough. Life really did hate her.
"Are you hungry?" Emma asked him. She couldn't really say his name, it wouldn't mean the same. She smiled at a memory that seemed a thousand years ago when he told her every time he said her name it felt like honey on his tongue, that was so long ago.
"Sure." he said shyly, it almost made her want to burst into tears, he no longer had that swagger and know-it-all smirk.
"There is this diner a couple of blocks away, Grannys. You used-" she caught herself, "you are gonna love it." He stood up silently and followed her to Grannys, they didn't talk they just walked side by side. As soon as they walked in Grannys everything became silent, Emma hadn't noticed that everyone knew, gossip spread like wildfire. Killian, oblivious to the silence walked over to a table and sat down waiting for me too follow. I shot a nervous glance to Ruby.
"Uh, Emma it's so nice to see you." Ruby said as she walked with Emma to her table, suddenly everyone went back to what ever they were talking about, still keeping Emma and Killian in the corner of there eye. Emma sat at the table with Killian and Ruby smiled.
"Can I look at the menu?" Killian asked.
Ruby taken aback from the question answered, "Yeah, um sure." Emma understood the slight confusion, Killian never needed the menu, he knew exactly what his order was. Finally Ruby came back with his menu and they ordered, Killian ordered a mac and cheese with fries and Emma got her usual. She watched him study everything, he could see things more because of those glasses she gave him. They sat and ate in silence, and Emma let her mind drift to when the lived in the Enchanted Forest, a "simpler" time. She looked up and caught him staring at her, he quickly shifted his eyes away from her. Hope, that's what Emma needed, hope that Killian will find her way back to her.
