-Third Person-

"My love?"

"Yes Daddy?" Joey was on Daniel's lap playing lazily with the hem off his shirt.

"I love you darling."

"I love you too daddy." Joey let out a soft yawn his eyes fluttering closed.

Daniel was going through his phone looking at a news article talking about the recent wild fires in around their neighborhood.

All of the sudden his phone buzzed and an icon on his screen flashed *WILD FIRE IN YOUR AREA PLEASE EVACUATE THE NEIGHBORHOOD.*

Daniel sighed taking Joey off of his lap and looking out the window. He wasn't very worried about the fire near him because all of his neighbors were very cautious, not wanting to watch their houses burn to the ground.

His eyes widened and his mouth dropped open. The house next to his was engulfed in flames and smoke was starting to fog up his vision.

Daniel quickly shut the window and ran over to their bedroom door touching the knob. It was warm. Shit.

"Joe baby I want to show you how to dance sweetie."

"Why daddy?" Joey opened his eyes and got up from his curled up position on the bed.

"Because I love you?"

Joey giggled and said, "Okay. Daddies cute."

"Thank you baby boy." Daniel said, wrapping his arms around his boyfriends waist pulling him close. "Here darling. Put your hands around my neck."

Joey chuckled sweetly and laid his head on Daniel's shoulder.

Daniel kissed his cheek and running n a hand through his hair, brushing it out of his face.

They swayed back and forth Daniel saying sweet nothings into Joey's ear, "Baby your my one true love. Your eyes are prettier than the bright blue morning sky. Your voice is like sweat honey, music to my ears. Your skin is delicate like flower petals, the color of the sunset."

Joey's cheeks were on fire and his heart was beating ten times as fast. He closed his eyes and coughed a little and cleared his throat, "Daddy it's getting hard to breath." Joey said coughing again tears filling the conners of his eyes.

"It's alright baby close you eyes and take deep breaths." Daniel saw from the corner of his eye that smoke was starting to come up from under the door.

He was glad Joey didn't see or else he would have freaked.

"Daddy may you please sing for me."

"Of course baby." Daniel's voice was becoming hoarse but he sang any ways.

"You are my Sunshine

My only Sunshine

You make me happy when skies are gray

You'll never know dear how much I love you.

Please don't take my Sunshine away."

Daniel continued to hum the tun, their hips moved in synch.

Daniel's eyes burned as flames started to fill the room. Joey was coughing very harshly, his eyes squeezed tight. Daniel raised his babies chin and connected their lips.

Both boys faces were stained with tears and their eyes sting.

"I love you so much sunshine."

"I love you to daddy."
