The sun beames on the small boy's head, as he lie in the soft grass. The slither forest was a beautiful place, filled with many hiding places. He smiles some. He knew his father couldn't find him. Snakes surround the small boy. His dark hair was suddenly pulled back, and dropped. This caused him a great fall. His legs began to slide, while his stomach scraped on the ground. "DAD LET GO!!!" he yells loudly, attempting to sqirm away. No response. "PLEASE DAD!!!" No response. The snakes hissed at the 'dad.' He hissed back at them, sending chills down their spines. Jamie cries hard, then his mother comes. Her eyes widen at the sight. "MOMMY HELP ME!" he yells crying. The mother scolds at his father, before picking up her child. "It's alright Jamie. I'll make sure this won't happen again." she looks back at his father. "You will be going now." His father simply chuckles.
"Oh Diana, I'm not going anywhere."
"Yes you are!"
"Right."
He slaps her across her face. "I won't be leaving." She puts Jamie down. "I will make you leave." she then begins to grow. He chuckles. Jamie goes to hide. He never knew why they fight, or why his dad, the person he was to look up to, hated him so much. Diana's voice began to sound funny, like a slither in each word. "Issss amss givingggg you oneess chancccccce Harold. Leavveesss nooww!" he began to grow the equlivent size. "Noo." his voice was much like a slither, same as Diana's, only much deeper. Jamie sat there, watching everything that happened. A large cobra, versus, a large rattle snake. Which will win? The rattle snake fell to the ground, making the rivers and lakes shake rapidly. Knocked out. The cobra began to shrink as it kissed the rattle. "I love you Diana." Harold said. Just said. Nothing special. He never showed his affection to her much, and treated her like crap. "Now where's the runt?" he starts looking for the, again, hidden Jamie.
