Chapter 1

* Amanda's POV * I had just arrived at mansion at 9:00.
It was a really stressful day, you know being the owner of two multi national companies, it can really get boring at times with all the paper work which technically means I don't get out much it is just business ,business and more business. The only things that gets me on my feet everyday is just the hope of seeing my boyfriend, most times i really do wonder what he does at his free time. I and Scott have been dating for the past five year since college , nothing really romantic but I still love him.
I got down from my car and walked to the huge door of my mansion, the door swung open and I was welcomed by my maid,Cassandra,and my Butler, John, I really do hate referring to Cassandra as my maid she is more like a second mother to me and that also goes for John to ,he makes me smile, laugh and of course is really nice. "Good evening Amanda how ,welcome back how"my thoughts were interrupted by John's greeting.
"Good evening John" I said with a smile he simply smiled back and went back to work.
I turned to Cassandra who was now locking the door, when she was done she turned to me.
"Amanda so how was work"she asked with a smile.
"As usually boring and stressful but at least I got that contact from the British empire"I said while yawning.
"Oh wonderful but it seems to me that you're tired so I will go get your dinner ready so you'll retire to you room for the day"she said .
"Oh don't worry Cassandra that won't be necessary but thank you"I said with a smile before walking up stairs to my room but I was stopped by Cassandra.
"Sorry to bother you Amanda but your boyfriend Scott called"she said with a tone of disgust when she mentioned Scott's name.
"Thank you Cassandra, Sorry to ask but why do you hate Scott so much"I said with my arms folded waiting for an answer.
"Well I just think he isn't the right person for you"she said with a face of concern. "Listen Amanda you a beautiful, talented, kind, caring,generous, unique girl who everyone is crazy about I am sure you can do better than Scott"
'Thanks for you concern but o love him Cassandra and there is nothing that can change my mind,Goodnight" I said before walking to my room,I mean what is to hate about Scott he is handsome, kind and let me not just get started on those his dreamy blue eyes that gets me memorized any time I see them, he doesn't need to be romantic I already love him and all I need is just him. Immediately I got into my room and closed the door I got out of my work clothes and got into my hot tub for a hot and soothing dip in the water. The words Cassandra said kept on playing in head like it was true but I just blotted it out. I was suddenly interrupted by a knock on my room door.
"Hey Amanda open up it's me" a husky voice said which I am pretty sure was Scott's voice.
"What is he doing here , Oh my God it's 10:00 already,how long I been in the tub?" I said while I wore my robe my hair was still soaking wet but what ever, I went to the balcony of my room to see if it was actually Scott. I look down and saw the white Ferrari I had bought for him on his birthday since he was from a not so rich home and couldn't afford a car. I heard the knock on my door again and quickly walked to the door and opened the door to meet his blue eyes.
"Hey what are you doing here at this time"I said
"Oh nothing I just thought we could go out for dinner"he Said while rubbing the back of his said.
"Sure what do you have planned"I said while batting my eye lashes at him as he flashed me a smile.
"It's a surprise"
"Okay give me a few minutes and I will get ready"I said with a big smile.
He just simply left without saying a word a headed downstairs.
"Okay there is something going on I said and closed the door. I still wanted to connect what exactly was going on then it hit me "Oh my God he is going to propose "I said and quickly ran to my wardrobe pick out a dress.

*Scott's POV *
"Richard help me out her I need to find a way to break up with Amanda, she is a great girl and all but I'm not just seeing what I saw in her four years ago it's all just plain now"I said
" Just tell her the truth, you can take her to your girlfriend's restaurant at that place new hotel and tell her what's up between you and Martha"
"your right that's why you my best friend" I said
"Your welcome, before you hang up quick question what made you stay with Amanda for another four year nothing exciting is actually happening between you two"
"Well to tell you the truth it's just for the money it's so benefiting that among all the guys that went flirting around for her she chose me it was okay for the first year but I just thought I would take advantage of it"I said with an evil grim on my face.
"Yo man your heartless"
"I know but I did learn from the best"I said.
"And that is "
"Yo bro you" said and we both bursted into laughter.
"Okay talk to you later" I said and hung up. I went into my house quickly took a shower, dressed up and jumped into my car as I got into the car I received a text from Martha and immediately read it.

** Martha - hello honey I just finished with the baby check up at the clinic, heading to work right now.

Me- okay see you soon bringing someone also for you to meet,by the way what's the baby's gender?

Martha - it's a surprise I will tell you tonight at work see you.

Me- okay bye.

Martha - bye. **

Immediately I dropped my phone I drove off to Amanda's house. I arrived just in time, own as left to the door and the door swung open immediately. I walked in and was greeted by Amanda's maid,Cassandra. She gave me a dirty stir and walked away before I could evening say any thing so I decided to go up myself . I got to Amanda's room door and knocked on the door but no one answered I tired and tried until finally Amanda opened the door, she was in her robe and looked so cute in her soaked hair. I cut to the chase and after the little conversation I left downstairs without another word . A few minutes past and I was marveled at what I saw, she wore a short black sequence gown with red heels and she let hair long waist lent hair fall which made her look stunning,but too bad I will not last long,I am going to make tonight a night to die for.
"You look amazing" I said with an evil smirk but to her it was an adoring smile so she blushed.
"Are you ready"I said extending my hand so she can take it.
"yes"she said while she took my hand and we walked to my car . As we were both in the car I quickly drove away. I will really make this night a night to die for.
