Lucy was sitting at the bar drinking her usual strawberry milkshake. She was staring into space, deep in thought.
"What seems to be bothering you Lucy?" Mirajane asked with a worry look in her blue eyes.
The blonde's thoughts were interrupted by Mira's comment, "Hmm? Oh, I was just thinking about something.." Lucy slightly blushed as she looked back on her thoughts.
Mira smirked at the Celestial Spirit Mage as she noticed blush dusted on her cheeks. "You're thinking about Natsu~."
"Pffft! -I am not!" Lucy started getting more red, "I-I don't see where you'd get that idea..."
"Hmmhmm tell that to your red face. Now!" Mira clapped her hands together excitedly, "Tell me all the juicy details!"
"I-It's nothing! Really, all I was thinking is how he looked kind of handsome on our mission. And his personality is adorable as well! The way he always thinks of his friends before himsel-" Lucy cut herself off, "What am I saying? I don't like Natsu!" She tried to convince herself.
But by then Mira was already wiggling her eyebrows up and down. "You liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiike him!" She said, mimicking a certain blue exceed.
"You called?" Happy flew over to the couple of girls talking. "You seemed to be talking in my language."
"It's NOTHING!" Lucy assured the blue creature.
"That's what they all say.." The white haired mage whispered to Happy, making Lucy forming a tick mark above her head.
"I do NOT like him Mira!" Lucy semi-shouted, causing the attention of Happy to advert even more towards her.
Happy looked at Mira, "Like who? Mira fill me in on the good stuff!"
"I would if Lucy over here could just admit her feelings~" Mira said looking over to Lucy and shaking her head. "You know Lucy it's not good to lie."
Lucy sighed, "Who says I'm lying?"
"We are." Both Mira and Happy say in usion.
"Wait, Lucy! You don't like Gray, do you?" The blue cat said in pure horror.
"Mavis no! I would never fall for that stripper!"
"But you'd fall for a pink-haired pyro?" Happy tried tricking Lucy into admitting her feelings.
"Yeah!- I mean-- wait what!? N-NO!!!" The blonde haired girl says blushing and turning into different 50 shades of red.
"Don't worry! I won't tell him....But you will! Now, I'm going to buy Carla some fish!" Happy flew off with a satisfied grin.
"Poor Happy.. About to get rejected for the 1,000th time.. Anyway!" Mira exclaimed while having a bright smile. "You're going to tell Natsu your feelings when he comes straight into those doors!"
Mira held Lucy in the guild for hours, until the pinkette finally walked through the doors. Gajeel and Wendy were with him, but all of the Dragon Slayers seemed to be down.
Lucy whispered quietly to Mira, "What's gotten into them?"
"Hmm, I have no clue...You're saved.....For now." Mira said.
The Twin Dragons also walked in the guild, but they went straight to where the other Dragon Slayers were. All of them just sat in a circle and stared at each other. No one in the guild dared to make a noise.
Wendy was the first to speak after a long while, "Do you think they'll come back?"
"All we have to do is wait.." Sting said, with a sad tone in his voice, not to short after Wendy spoke.
Gajeel's sadness soon turned to anger, "I can't believe they're still gone. Or why they never told us where they went off to." The anger faded back to sadness halfway through his sentence.
Natsu and Rogue were the only ones who kept quiet. All they did was stare deep off into space with a hurtful expression spread across their faces.
--Meanwhile--
At Sabertooth all of the exceeds were setting up a Feel-Well-Soon Party for the Dragon Slayers. Pantherlily had thought it up, and Happy and Carla said how it should be at Sabertooth.
"Fro thinks we should put a big ribbon with Dragons on it here." Frosch flew up to the door of the guild.
"Great idea Frosch!" Lector told Frosch and flew towards it.
Pantherlily was in his battle form bossing around the Sabertooth mages, "Yukino, Rufus, and Orga, Go buy plenty of food! Remember two guilds and the Dragon Slayers will be here."
"Carla! We're in charge of games! We should test out 7 Minutes in Heaven!" Happy wiggled his eyebrows.
"Tch, stupid cat." Carla replied to Happy and flew away from him, leaving Happy to sulk in a corner.
"Carla! Help Happy with the games! Do you want this party to be a flop?" Lily scolded Carla.
A imagine of Wendy's happy smile came across Carla's mind. The white female exceed sighed and began to fly back over to Happy.
Pantherlily had called for Gajeel to bring the guild and Dragon Slayers over to Sabertooth for an 'emergency.' Lisanna was the first to arrive, and Lily took that as a sign for the exceeds and Tigers to hide and wait for the guests of honor to arrive.
Footsteps could be heard walking towards the guild. Immediately that was a sign to know that the guests of honor and the Fairy Tail guild would be coming in any moment.
When they came in the exceeds all popped out of their hiding places and screamed 'surprise' to their dragon slayer. While the Sabertooth mages turned on the lights to reveal the decorated, food filled, and games all over guildhall.
Natsu's face lit up, "You guys did all this?" He asked the exceeds and mages.
Lisanna stepped forward, "I did! I did it all for you Natsu, and the other Dragon Slayers." Lily, the exceeds and Sabertooth wizards all stood with shocked expressions. But Natsu was simply to dense to realize Lisanna was lying.
Gajeel looked at Pantherlily, "This was the project you said you had to do? You sure are my cat!"
"Noo!" Natsu looked at Gajeel, "Lisanna said she did this!"
The two began to endlessly fight as the other dragons slayers began to listen to their exceeds. Frosch was almost in tears, which meant Rogue was going to slap a bitch. And a fight between dragon slayers began.
"It's always like this, isn't it." Levy said to Lucy who was fuming in the corner.
"Yeah.." Lucy replied. But in reality she wasn't listening to the bluenette. All she could think about was what Lisanna had said.
"I did! I did it all for you Natsu, and the other Dragon Slayers."
Right then and there Lisanna came over to Lucy and pulled her over to the side, "I'll be the one to win his heart. Not you, so watch your back." Lisanna walked right back to Natsu.
