A/N: Wooow guys i havent updated in so long. It's because high school is very time consuming with homework and everything. I apologize if you have been waiting for me to update. I feel like people might not have a lot of interest in this book, so comment if you want me to continue. Once again, I'm sorry! Buuuuut anyways, here is chapter 9!

Niall's POV:

The sound of shattering glass made my eyes shoot open. I looked around the room to see Sammi still asleep next to me. What is going on?

I took a flashlight and my handgun downstairs. How to someone break into Sam's house? When I looked out the front window, a gang of about 5 people were running away from my car. Once they were out of sight, I slowly opened the door just enough to see that my driver side window was smashed. You have got to be kidding me.

The sun was begging to rise so I decided to call the police.

"Hello? Yes. I'd like to report damage done to my car."

I heard Sammi's footsteps come down the stairs.

"Niall?" she called.

"Shhh Sam one second" I whispered and covered the phone mic with my thumb.".

"Okay thank you for coming to check things out." I spoke to the officer.

When I turned around, Sammi was standing in the hallway while biting her nails.

"Someone broke my car window." I sighed.

"What? Why?"

"I have no idea, probably some foolish kids." Sammi walked over to the door and slowly closed it. I was pissed but tried not to show it.

A few minutes later the police knocked on the door. We allowed him to come inside and talk. I told him everything I saw and that it was around 5 am. Sammi came into the living room and handed us both coffee.

"Thank you." The officer and I both said at the same time.

After taking a few sips, I showed him the damage to my car. Nothing was missing from the inside, but the entire window was shattered. At least my insurance will pay for it.

The officer took down some notes and took photos. He told me that they used a brick from the wall. He put on gloves and picked it up.

"I'll get back to you as soon as we run a few tests on this." The man said.
"Okay. Thank you for you're time."

I returned inside and Sammi was pacing around the room with anger.

"Why would someone do that?!" She screamed.

"It's okay Sam, calm down."

"Fine.". She huffed and sat down on the couch.

I wrapped my arms around her and she turned on some boring day time show.

"I have to go get my window fixed, would you like to come?" I asked.

"Can't today. I have work in an hour."

"I'll drop you off then go get it fixed. Good thing it's warm out today. Or we'd be freezing in the car."

"Alright. I'm going to go get a quick shower. I'll only be 10ish minutes.". Sammi smiled and kissed my cheek.

It felt so weird having an actual girlfriend, not just a one night stand. When I was in deep thought, my phone buzzed in my pocket. Great it was Stacy.

From: Stacy
You looked hot the other day ;) Who was the girl?

I replied: None of your business. Leave me alone.

A few minutes later, she texted back.

Stacy: Alright well if you ever need me, you know where to find me ;)

I scoffed at her remarks. Why can't she just leave me alone. I was done with her for 8 months. Honestly she was the longest relationship I've ever had. After her, I had a few one night things here and there. I don't know why she keeps coming back at me. She is the one who cheated on me with my best friend.

I ran my hand through my hair and Sammi ran out in only a towel.

"Oh! I forgot you were still here." She said running behind the wall.

I chuckled and handed her the clothes she left on the dryer.

"Thanks." Sam scurried back into her room.

I sat down on the brown couch once again and pulled out my car keys. About ten minutes later, Sam ran out all dressed in her work clothes and her long hair up in a ponytail.

"You look cute." I smiled and she just giggled.

After we hoped into my car, we drove away towards the diner.
