Josh's pov:

Uuugh. My sister is having her friends, Mallory and Jessica over. They're both very annoying. The worst part is my mom is making me socialize with them." Josh come down here." Paige yells. Here we goo. I walk downstairs and join their corny circle of truth or dare." Josh truth or dare?" Mallory asks. "Dare." I say folding my hands behind my head. No one could ever get me. That's what I thought at least. "I dare you to date Chloe for a whole month then break up with her in a bad way." My face turns green. Chloe is the school nerd, she doesn't know how to dress, she is so clumsy and she has no friends. "Are you trying to humiliate me!?" I ask. They nod and giggle. "You have to do it Josh; it's a dare remember?" Mallory taunts. "Fine I can't wait until the month to be over. Now tomorrow at school everyone is going to be watching me ask Chloe out. This is THE worst night ever. I walk out of the living room an get ready for bed.

*Next Morning*

Chloe's pov:

I wake up in the morning feeling great but then my mood suddenly changes to sad. Another day of teasing an pointing and just plain old being mean to me. I'm a nerd because I do my work and listen to the teachers. I don't dress well because my mom can't afford what the kids at my school wear. I am clumsy, well actually I only trip like twice a day. Which is not clumsy in my book. Yeah, I know what people in my school call me. I just can't wait until I graduate I'll find a nice husband and pursue my dreams. You see all the guys at my school are either teasing me, way too smart, or either just complete bullies to me. I slip on a yellow sweater, black skinny jeans and black flats. Yes I know not the best fashion choice, but my mom and father only make about fifty dollars in two weeks. I grab my backpack and a piece of toast and walk to the bus stop. As soon as I reach the stop the bus comes around the corner. Made it just in time. I sit in the front of the bus. Once I relax I feel a paper ball being thrown at my head. I un crumble it an read it. ' Why do you come to our school? No one likes you and you have zero friends. Everyone wishes you were dead.' It reads. A tear sheds from my eye as I walk into school. I thrown the piece of paper in a nearby trash. Oh gosh why is Josh Hyland approaching me. He's a jock, I hate jocks.

Josh's pov:

Well news spread around fast that I'm going out with our school loser. They just don't know when and that's a good thing. No one is treating me different which is a good thing too. Far as I'm concerned this month will go by fast. I wonder, how should I break up with her? Through a text? Nah. Email? What who uses email anymore. Got it! I'll grab the microphone during lunch and announce the break up. She will be so embarrassed and never step foot in this school again! Time went by fast and I'm waiting at the entrance of the carnival. I see a blonde haired girl dressed nice but that can't be, it is.

Chloe's pov:

When I got home my mom went shopping for me. She said she came into money. I have nice clothes now! I was wearing a hot pink tank top and skinny jeans, with some black toms. My hair was wavy and out. When I approached josh I had my arms folded and ready to get this thin over with. "What?" I ask. He stops staring and answers me. "Ready?" "Sooner the better I can't wait until I get home." I respond and walk in without him. "So how come you never dress like this at school?" He asks catching up to me still amazed. "Why should you care, all you people do is judge me and make my life worse everyday." I say holding back tears. He points to a roller coaster and we walk into the line. "Are you gonna answer the question? He asks in an Italian accent. I laugh. "My parents are poor so I take what I can get and carry on, recently my mom came into money and bought me new clothes she knew how much flack I was getting at school for my old clothes." I say looking down. "Ooooooh so you actually are forced to wear those ugly clothes?" I nod my head. "Phew! I thought you actually chose to wear those that." He says as we get on the ride. We buckle up and make our way up the tracks of the roller coaster. "So-" he starts but it's too late we are going down down the ramps and through the loopy loops. We scream our heads off and wave our hands in the air. The ride end unfortunately and we step off. He looks like he's about to blow. Which he does. We go an get our popcorn and sit down at a nearby picnic table." Can I ask you something?" Josh says turning to me. I nod my head. "Do you like being the school- how do I put this in nice words-" "loser?" I say cutting him off. He nods. "I never chose to be a loser, it's not my fault I do well in school, that my mother and father don't have a good paying job or that I have no friends. If you think I chose to be loser then your wrong. I hate being picked on an bullies and having death threats thrown at me everyday. I hate being punched in the stomach every time I walk into the girls bathroom. I ABSOLUTELY hate that people want me dead for not being them. Being judged is not a great feeling, but I'm being a hypocrite because I judge everyone in that school, but at least my judgements are right. That's what makes me a loser; being who I am." I say my voice cracking because there were tear forming. But not falling. "Did I ever do anything to you?" He asks. "First grade, second grade, third grade, etc. you and your sister are evil." I say wiping the tears away in my eyes, but I chuckle at the end. "Sorry" he says underneath his breath. "Can we just leave?" I ask. He nods and we part are separate ways. I totally thought he was going to be wrong, I was wrong.
