The Snow Queen
Once upon a time, on December 24, a Snow Queen called Susan was working at her big mansion. Susan was a hard worker and couldn’t leave the house till she finished cleaning and doing the work she had to do. It was a snowy day. Finally, Susan finished the chores she had to do that day. She was a beautiful girl and everyone was jealous of her when she was young. She was perfect, but she never had any friends. Now she has one, his name is Santa, she lives right next to him, he is her neighbour.
A few hours later, she went outside. She saw the beautiful snow that fell onto the ground. Except she didn’t find it that beautiful, because the snowflakes only had three sides. She found there was something missing to the snowflakes that glowed in the daylight. She draws on a piece of paper what she sees outside. She draws those snowflakes, Susan tries drawing one with a hat and adding clothes, nothing pleased her. Then, she gets an idea, maybe drawing one with four sides, she doesn’t like it, with five sides, it can be better, so she tries one extra side, and she loves it. But now there is another problem, how does she make the snow have six sides, it is nearly impossible. But Susan remembers that everything is possible. She tries everything that she could possibly think of doing to change the snow. Nothing worked.
Finally, Susan remembers about her friend Santa. He is magical, Susan was sure he could do what she wants. Susan runs to Santa’s house. Sooner or later, she is eating milk and cookies with Santa. She explains everything to Santa; she even showed him the drawing she drew. Santa found it was a good idea. Susan even added that it would be a cool Christmas present to give to everyone. Santa agreed. They were both outside. Santa said something magical and told Susan to look at the snow. It was beautiful, even more beautiful than before!!! That’s why snowflakes have six sides.
