The Walking Lost (walking dead/Lost fanfic)

The baby is coming!

"We've been sailing for the last 5 days and theres nothing out here, Rick" Carol said. "Do you want to go back then? To where all the walkers are or would you rather us stay here on the ocean where its safe?" Dad asked. "Dad.. Do you really think theres land out here?" I asked. "I dont know. Its better then nothing, though" he stated. "Oh" I said looking over towards Carl.

"Land! I see land!" Glenn shouted. I grabbed a pair of binoculars and looked through them. "Oh my god. There is land" I mumbled. We were all shouting and laughing when Maggie started screaming. "Maggie! Whats wrong?!" Glenn yelled running over to her. "M-my water just broke" she said through clenched teeth. "Guys thats not the only problem" Abraham stated.

"Theres a leak in the boat" He said. "Glenn, Carol, and Denise get Maggie to a bed. Time the contractions and do your doctor stuff. Abraham, Sasha, and Daryl take that raft and make it to the island. Be careful and dont trust anyone. After you there search around find anything that can be useful in our situation. The rest of us will try to fix the leak. If we cant we'll take the other raft and we'll go to the island that way. In case that happens we need you to try to find a stretcher or something to put Maggie on. Okay?" Dad said. They nodded and got to their jobs. I ran over to the edge of the boat. 'The leaks pretty bad' I thought.

"Shy we need you to go look for anything that can help us stop the leak" Dad told me. I nodded and started searching for anything. 'Ugh! Theres nothing useful here' I thought. I ran around trying to find anything useful but all i could find was bandages and I dont think that would hold. "I cant find anything" I shouted. "Shy we need you to help with Maggie! Hurry!" Carol yelled. I ran over to her and climbed down the ladder.

"Maggie get ready on three. One... Two... Three... Push!" Carol said. "Arghhhh" Maggie screamed. "Its coming, I see a head" I said. "You need to push again" Carol said. All you could here was Maggie's screams. "One more big push" Carol said. "I cant" Maggie said squeezing Glenn's hand. "Yes you can, Mags" Glenn said rubbing his thumb over her hand. "One... Two.. Three.." Carol said. Maggie screamed in pain. "Its a boy" I said holding it. Carol cut the umbilical cord. I handed him to Maggie. She was crying tears of joy. We gave them some space. I went to the deck to check on the leak. "We have to get to the island. Theres no fixing it" dad said. "Shy, hows Maggie doing?" He asked. "She had a boy" I said. Dad smiled.

"Were gonna have to take turns" Dad said. "Maggie, Shy, Carl, Glenn, Lizzie, Mikia,Judith, and the baby should go first" Carol said. Everyone agreed. "I can stay here and help" I said. "No shy your getting on that raft" Dad said. I sighed and got on the raft. "Eugene you said you can drive it" dad said. He nodded and got on the raft.

Eugene started the engine and drove off into the sea. "Do you think everyone is gonna be ok?" Mikia asked. "Of course I told her. "But what if the monsters are there too?" She asked. "I don't know, sweetie" I told her. We rode in silence after that.

Maggie was passed out from exhaustion. Glenn was talking to Eugene about getting to the island faster. I got bored of listening to their conversation so I decided to play a game with Carl. I had a notebook and pencils in my bag. I grabbed my bag and asked Carl if he wanted to play hangman. He nodded.
Time skip
"It should be about 10 minutes and we will be there" Eugene said. I was getting restless and so was Carl. We finally reached the island. We climbed out of the raft. I looked around for the other raft Daryl, Sasha, and Abraham was on. I didn't see anything.

Carl noticed me looking around and said "I'm sure they are fine." I gave him a sly smile. Glenn took Maggie and say with her by a tree. I walked over to them. "Hey" I whispered sitting down quietly so I wouldn't wake Maggie up. "Hey" Glenn whispered moving strands of Maggie's hair out of her face. I smiled.

"I think we can make a pretty good shelter here" I said. "Yeah but where are Daryl, Sasha, and Abraham?" He asked. I shrugged. "Knowing them they are probably around here somewhere" I said. "Hey don't worry that's the last thing that should be going through your head. You need to be in good shape for the baby and worrying causes stress and stress causes health problems" I stated.

He laughed and nodded. "Your right" he said. He was holding the baby close to him so he could hear his heartbeat. I got up and walked over to Lizzie. "Do you want to help me get some firewood?" I asked. They nodded and followed me into the woods. We gathered some firewood and was walking back to the beach. "Don't you think we should look for Daryl and the others?" Lizzie asked.

I nodded. "When the others get here and they are still gone then we can but not right now since Maggie is weak and someone has to take care of the baby and Judith. That only leaves You two, Carl, and me. "We can't just not look for them they could be dead!" Lizzie exclaimed. "She's right Lizzie. Rick chose them for a reason because they are strong and we don't want to get anyone else hurt and plus we can't just leave Maggie and the babies!" Mikia argued back.

"Whatever" Lizzie huffed and walked off into the direction of the beach. We set the firewood down. I went to start a fire but heard what seemed to be shouting in the distance. I walked a little closer to see if I was right. "Put down your guns NOW and no one gets hurt!" The voice sounded like Sasha. I grabbed my gun and ran back to tell the others.

"Lizzie! Mikia! Get the baby and Judith! NOW!" I yelled. They grabbed the kids. Carl pulled out his gun and so did Glenn. Glenn stay here with Maggie I think me and Carl can handle it I said.  We walked off in the direction of where I heard the voices. I seen a tall guy with shaggy hair pointing a gun at Abraham. Sasha and Daryl were on their knees. A taller guy was trying to talk him out of it.
'Must be their leader' I thought before everything went black.
