"This is the best dream that I have had in a long time." I float around in a world of complete isolation where it is only me and the eternal silence. "This void of darkness is so soothing I wish it would never end." I embrace the feeling of being alone in the endless void as I feel a surge of vigor. "I wish this was how the world really was however--" Suddenly something rams me right in my stomach.
"Hey you worthless bum it is time to wake." I open my eyes and see my little sister Sukia, and she has a proud grin across her face.
"What the hell Sukia! Why did you just knee me while I was sleeping!" I get up and try to scare her off as she backs away a few steps.
"Hurry up we are going to be late to the graduation party if you don't hurry up." I yawn as she rushes down the stair.
"—I have that as a little sister." I sigh. "Well better get ready or I am going to have her on my case for the rest of the day." I walk over to my closet and grab out my favorite black hoodie with a white wolf head over the heart, a normal white t-shirt, and my favorite pair of black pants. After getting dressed I head downstairs and see Sukia spazzing out trying to make breakfast. "Calm down Sukia or you're gonna ruin the food again."
"Oh just shut up and sit down already. I got this." She continues to make breakfast at a horrible pace.
"Three, two, one." Suddenly Sukia spills the cups of orange juice she had in her hands; ruins the pieces of bacon with the spilt juice; turns up the flame on the stove as she falls, burning the pancakes; and lastly drops the container of eggs with no lid onto her face all at the same time. I walk over and look down at her as she moves the eggs off her face. "I warned you that you would mess up the food if you didn't calm down and stop being so paranoid."
"Oh shut up. I wouldn't have had to be in a hurry if you had just gotten us up like you said you would!" She then glares at me and tries to get me to be quiet. But that has never worked on me before and won't now.
"Now hurry up and go clean yourself off while I make us breakfast that won't get ruined." I make a slight grin as I expect her to get pissed at me for the smart remark I made.
"Fine I will." She slowly gets up and starts to walk up to the bathroom as she then shouts from the top of the stairs. "Oh and screw you, I was just trying to help you out and make it so you didn't have to make breakfast right after waking up."
I hear her close the bathroom door and turn the shower on. "I know you were trying to be helpful and I appreciate it. But if you were to get hurt while helping me I wouldn't be able to forgive myself." I smile a bit as I begin to make breakfast where Sukia had failed. By the time she was out of the shower and downstairs, I had all the food done and on the table. "Better hurry up before it gets cold." I pull a chair out for her as she walks up to the table.
"I know, I know. You don't have to state the obvious all the time, Hibiki. Jeez!" She sits down in the chair as I then push her in. "Thanks for the food Hibiki."
"Anytime Sukia, I hope you enjoy the food." We spend the next thirty minutes eating and enjoying our food. Afterwards we cleaned the dishes and headed off to our high school graduation party on our bikes.
Once we arrived at our high school we jump off our bikes and run inside because we only have a few minutes until we are late. "I bet I can get there before you sis." I grin as I begin to run a bit faster.
"In your dreams"! I watch as Sukia suddenly speeds past me. "Eat my dust."
I grit my teeth while I slowly catch up to her. "Not this time Sukia." I speed around a corner cutting her off and won our little race. "Told you I can beat you in a race." I grin as she walks up and catches her breath.
