Chapter 4

India (P.O.V)
It's been 2 weeks since I started tutoring Drew. I noticed that he is goofy and a great person over all, not to mention that he is also cute.
"Drew stop" I said while laughing. He was currently throwing paper balls at me.
"No, can we stop studying now? My brain can't take no more." I laughed while looking at him shaking my head at his silliness. My phone ranged interrupting my laughing. I looked at the caller ID seeing Chris.
"Hello" I answered unsure as to why he was calling me.
"Hey, can I come over." I was currently at my house while studying with Drew in my living room, it was Saturday at 4:30. Chris has come over before but nothing has happened we have just became good bestfriend.
"Yea sure my study session is over now."
"Alright I'm coming be there in ten" I walked over to Drew and he was already packing.
"Alright friend you gotta get the hell up out of here." Drew looked over at me with the saddest face.
"Oh I ain't know it was like that." I went up to him giving him a hug.
"I'm sorry friend, don't take it the wrong way."
"It's alright but I'm out so I'll text you later." I nodded my head opening the door I seen Chris just parking his car. They passed each other giving each other a dap, but Chris had a mug on his face.
"Hey bestfriend" Chris put his hands out asking for a hug, I gladly accepted and hugged him back.
"So what's up?" I asked him. It seemed like he was kinda angry and sad at the same time.
"Aight well I just found out some news about my girl that I didn't know." I looked at Chris hands as they rested on his knees.
"Hold on Chris what is wrong with your hands? What did you do?" Chris looked like he was angry all over again. I rushed by his side to calm him down I held him by his shoulders and pulled him into me. After I felt Chris becoming relaxed I took his hands and dragged him to the bathroom that was downstairs to clean up his cuts and blood. I took out the peroxide and the cotton ball.
"This might hurt a little but a lot."
"That made no sen- ahhh damn India that shit hurts. Couldn't warn a nigga or something." I laughed at him.
"I told you that it was going to hurt but you wanted to be a smart ass." He chuckled.
"You wanna tell me what happened."
"Yea." We went to my room. 
Chris (P.O.V)
Before I went to India's house a lot took place. I went to roll up with all the niggas at August house, his momma wasn't there so it was okay to smoke. Walking into the house I came earlier August told me that he had some shit to tell me. I walked into the house only to see my girl on August lap in the living room. I scrunched up my eyebrows confused as to what was going on here, since when did my bro and my girl started talking. I only brought her around my squad cause I felt like she was the one and I ain't think none of my niggas got down like that. On the inside I was fuming with fire. I became a better person with her, deleted all my hoes numbers, stopped flirting, and most importantly I stayed faithful.
"So what the fuck is going on here." I crossed my arms waiting for a response. August removed her from his lap and sat he on the couch. She sat there with this face on that looked scared.
"Chris I wanted to tell you that umm me and Sky have fucked around once or twice while y'all was together." He spoke quickly, but I heard all the words he said.
"Hold on. Sky are you serious? I done gave up a lot of shit for you and your cheating on me?"
"Chris I didn't mean to like it was a mistake, I want you and only you not August."
"I mean obviously not you sitting here fucking with my nigga like really. August are you fucking serious you supposed to be my nigga and you sitting here fucking my girl?"  Before that nigga could say anything I punched him dead in his jaw. I punched him again and again until we heard the door open and Tyga and the others was walking in. They quickly made they way towards August and I, pulling me away and holding me back from fucking that nigga up anymore. I looked over to see Sky on the couch crying. I was bout to walk out but I turned around to Sky.
"Sky we over, loose my number. August, same for you too nigga we ain't cool no more." Then I made my way to India's house.
India (P.O.V)
Damn Chris I ain't know that August was like that. Chris chuckled but didn't respond. My mom came into the house. Chris instantly got excited and ran down stairs to say hi to my mother. My mom and Chris has a daughter and son relationship. I walked down stairs to see Chris having a full on conversation with my mother so casually. I waited for a while until I hopped in it.
"Hi mommy I missed you, how was work." I haven't seen my mom in a week because she had to fly to Las Vegas and a couple of other places.
"It was good honey, they gave me a few days to rest. I'll be leaving again though, only for a week and some days." My face sadden at the news that I heard but then again she has to provide for the both of us. My mom saw my face and instantly had an idea.
"How about you can have some friends stay here with you while I'm away, if it's any boys they better not be sleeping in the same room, let alone bed with you." She gave Chris the side eye. He caught on and put his hands up.
"You ain't got nothing to worry about here mama." Chris stated to my mom. My mother laughed.
"Do y'all kids want something to eat?"
Chris (P.O.V)
I got super excited, I've been around India so I know that her moms can cook up one good as meal.
"Hell yea" I said like I was a kid in the candy store. Mrs. Hollands glared at me before piping me in my mouth.
"Watch yo mouth boy." All I could do was hold my mouth and laugh cause it was funny as hell the way her face looked when I said hell. India was laughing her ass off pointing at me, while I just sat there mugging her. We went up to her room while her mom started getting ready for dinner, India was on her phone doing something that made her look so concentrated. I starred at her, I started to look at her differently. My Bestfriend is beautiful as fuck no doubt about it but something in me just made me look at her in another way. I was so deep in my thoughts that I didn't hear her calling my name.
"Chris!" She yelled punching me in the shoulder.
"Damn, do I look like a punching bag today?"  She looked at me before busting out laughing.
"I was trying to tell you that my mom said the food is almost ready, come down in 10."
"I got punched for that shit?"
"I just thought you wanted to know." She laughed. Her laugh was so cute and her smile damn. I watched her as she went to her mirror and tried on the filters on snapchat she grew tired of them and took a regular picture of herself on her phone.
India (P.O.V)
I noticed that Chris has been looking at me a lot lately and it's like he would zone out and think of something else. It made me wonder about what he was thinking. I tapped Chris and told him the food is finally ready but of course he was zoned out again starring at nothing particular. I just decided to leave the room and go downstairs.
"Mom can I bring the food up to Chris seems like he's zones in and out." My mom pursed her lips thinking about what I just said and of an answer. She fixed the plates and gave them to me nodding her head basically giving me the permission to take the food up stairs. I went back into the room and as soon as Chris smelled the food his head turned in my direction. Basically attacking me for the plate in my hand so that he could eat.
"Wanna watch a movie?" I asked
"Yea what movie we watching?"
"I don't know."
"Lemme pick it." Chris stated while taking out my collection. He didn't find the movie that he was looking for so he went into the closet in the hallway. Smiling he came back into the room with the movie in his hand.
"What movie is it?"
"Wait till it comes on ma." I hate when Chris does this. I already know it's either a scary movie, or a shark movie because I hate watching those two types of movies. Chris sat next to me on my bed while scarfing down his food. The letters The Forest popped up on my tv. I glared at Chris while he was laughing. I never watched this movie but I've heard that it was a scary movie and I've seen the trailers I don't even know why we have the stupid ass movie, I bet my mom brought that shit. 15 minutes into the movie me and Chris was done with our food, the movie hadn't started with the scary shit. As soon as it was dark and that bitch stayed in the forest I already knew that some shit was gonna happen. As soon as I thought it was over and she was going to sleep something just had to fucking happen, either a heartbeat I was in Chris's arms hiding my face from the tv. That wasn't helping because the intense music and the sounds was loud as hell for one and two it made me know that some scary shit was happening. Chris held me but he was all into the movie, and on his phone so he barely payed any attention to me. The movie was over and Chris had gotten a call from his mom. I looked at him before asking
"You leaving?" He looked down at me
"Yea, I'll come back tomo-" Chris phone went off. He instantly stopped talking and replied back to what I'm guessing was a text. I huffed hoping to get his attention but no he's so into his phone I left out of my room going downstairs with the plates that we used from earlier. My mother was no longer down here she already went to bed because tomorrow it's just going to be me and my mom. She wanted to spend time with me before she had to leave again for her job. I stayed down stairs 15 more minutes by myself until Chris came down stairs.
"Chris?" I called out looking for an answer.
"Yea baby? I gotta go." He winked at me. Hold up baby? I mean yea he's been calling me baby girl and shit but never baby.
"Chris why are you leaving?"
"Cause I'm bout to go get me some pussy." I shook my head not knowing what to say.
"Alright Chris have fun." He nodded his head while leaving my house. All different thoughts rushed through my head but one thing that I thought for sure was that me and Chris was going to be able to be together ecspecially since he isn't dating Sky anymore. I mean even when he was with her he flirted with me a lot.
Sky (P.O.V)
That's why August brought me here I can't believe him.
"Why the fuck would you do that." I yelled at August. His face was fucked up Chris hit him a good couple times. He furrowed his eyebrows.
"Because it was time to let him know that you was fucking with me while you was with him." He retorted back. I just up and left sitting in my car thinking. I had to see Chris and try to explain to him that it wasn't what I wanted it to be.
Flashback
Me and my girls was sitting in my car in the school parking lot waiting for the first bell to ring. At this time I wasn't dating Chris, but we was most definitely talking. My girl Becky came up with this idea that it would be cool if I loosen up a bit from being a goody two shoes. So she dared me to fuck August within the next two weeks or she would make my life hell. At this point I came to the conclusion that she wasn't my friend like I thought she would be. I had no other choice but to do the dare considering everything she knows about me and my family. I accepted the dare but I told her that she could not tell anyone about this she agreed. I ended up fucking August but it was while I was dating Chris.
"I did it. I fucked August, are you happy now?" I asked Becky.
"No how am I supposed to know that your not lying to me." I wanted to snack the piss out of her.
"Well how the fuck do you want me to show you that I fucked him. You wanna sit there and watch?" She laughed like I was joking.
"Tape it. Not like a sex tape but the noise tape it and let me hear it." I walked away.
Flashback over
That's how I ended up fucking August two times. When Chris came through the door I was only on his lap because because I was trying to get my phone back from him. I didn't know that Chris was going to walk in but he didn't even give me time to explain. I drove off to Chris house. His mom opened the door and told me that Chris was in his room with a friend. I made my way up stairs. Getting closer to the door I heard moans and groans. I opened the door only to see Becky and Chris fucking are you kidding me. I went straight to Becky and pulled her off of him and started beating her ass. Chris got up put on some shorts in a fast motion and came over to me trying to get me off of the whore at the moment. Chris got me to the corner still holding me back. I tried to get free so many times but he was putting all his weight on me.
"You better run." Chris said to Becky while she was still sitting there taking her time putting on her clothes. I'm thinking that Chris's mom had left, when I was coming in here it did seem like she was leaving to go somewhere.
"I was fucking Chris for the past 2 days bitch." Becky snarled. That's what set me the fuck off. I took all my strength and lift Chris off of me running to his room door before she had a chance to get to the steps I pulled her hair and started punching her in her face over and over and over again until Chris finally got me off of her.
"Bitch you must not know that I don't fucking play." I yelled "You ain't seen shit keep fucking with me hoe."
"Yo chill out bruh." Chris said to me. "You, dismiss yourself without saying anymore shit." Chris pointed at Becky. She scoffed and walked out of his room. When we heard the door slam I smacked Chris.
"How the fuck you gonna be pissed at me when you was doing the same shit."
"Let me explain why I started cheating on you."
"Nah Chris I don't wanna hear this shit. At least when I was cheating I was black mailed by the bitch you was fucking." I yelled in his face.
"She told me that you was fucking August so that's why I started fucking her." I sighed and looked at him. He grabbed my hand.
"I ain't know she was black mailing you baby. I always knew that you wasn't like that but you should've told me sooner. The only reason I started cheating on you was because she told me that you was messing around with August and said that we could get revenge on you." I looked into his eyes and it seemed like he was really genuine about what he said.
"Alright." I was bout to leave but Chris caught my arm and pulled me back into the room.
"Can't we work this out? I have true feelings for you." I sighed thinking about what I should do. I mean I really love Chris he keeps me balanced as a whole and I really think that this can work out if we don't rush it and just have faith.
"Alright Chris but this time no cheating for neither of us." He nodded with a smile on his face putting his arms out, asking for a hug which I gladly accepted.
Chris (P.O.V)
Yea I know I was just at India's house thinking about her in a different way but I don't think much of it simply because nothing is going to happen between us.
India (P.O.V)
I think that I might have feelings for Chris. I don't really know but we grew a lot closer as Bestfriend and he doesn't have a girlfriend. Lately he has been staring at me a lot and flirting with me so maybe he's been feeling the same way but I don't want to get ahead of myself with this Chris thing. I decided to call Kayla. Kayla and I have talked a bit here and there but we barely see each other in school with the differences in our schedule.
