Chapter 3 - [Auditions]

Hayyy guys. its hard to write chapters with school and such, so i'm writing as much as possible at weekends then uploading throughout the week, anyways. enjoy! [date- 26.10.13 ]

Beck's POV

Why did I do that? I'm such an idiot. Trying to kiss one of my best friends out the blue, when I'm pretty sure I'm still dating Jade. It's just... No one has ever been so comforting, and made me feel so good, and... I just saw her lips, they were there and- ugh, I've ruined everything.

BOOP - it's a text from Cat.

Cat: "... I think it's time we coughed"

Beck" coughed?"

Cat:" Oh! Sorry ^.^ I meant talked

Beck:" haha, well then. I completely agree"

Cat:" I'm just confused, why did you try to kiss me?"

Beck" I'm not sure..."

Cat:" You're not sure?"

Beck:" You made me feel so much better, no ones ever comforted me that much before and... I guess I just."

Cat:" just, what?"

Beck:" felt the need to put my lips against yours, I know a 'thank you' would be easier, but something just took over me"

Cat:" Do...do you like me"

~ silence~

Do I like Cat? I'm not even sure myself, but I can't say that. And I can't say I don't like her when I tried to kiss her! Screw it.

Beck: "Yes"

Cat: "oh"

CATS POV

He likes me?!? I can feel my heart pounding, it feels its going to burst right out my body! Ew, I know.

Beck:" Do you like me...?"

Do I like Beck? I mean... I'm almost sure I've always had feeling for him, but I feel for Robbie too.

Cat: "I...I think I might"

Beck: "so...I'd like to take you out tomorrow, just a walk in the park, some dinner."

Cat:" sorry Beck... It's auditions tomorrow"

Beck:" So it is! Damn, what about Thursday then?"

Cat:" Thursday sounds great:) "

I have a feeling that this Thursday will change my life forever.

It's auditioning time, I take a gulp of water, feeling the cold liquid trickle down my throat. I hear my name being called, looks like I'm up. I step onto the stage, feeling the warm light hit my body. "So cat... You are auditioning for the role of Thomas's sister, am I correct?" Asks Sicowitz. "Yes, that's right"

After 10 mins of acting out scenes the audition comes to an end. I actually think I did pretty good, I should find the others and see how they did.

I step into the corridor to see Beck and Andre, this could be awkward... Just act natural. "Hey guys, how did it go?" I smile. Andre looks over and grins. "It went great, thanks Cat, what about you?" Andre smiles. "Quite good, thanks" I say. Beck keeps quiet, scuffing his shoes off of the ground. Andre's going to get suspicious if Beck doesn't start talking."How about your audition, Beck?" I ask, smiling. "Quite good, thanks" he says, clearly forcing an awkward smile. He isn't angry or anything... I think Beck just feels a bit awkward and embarrassed at what happened. "Well I need to head home, see you both later" I wave, grinning. "Bye" they both say.
