  BEING A mutant from the moment you are born — had perks and consequences; at least in the eyes of Eleanor Clarke. The only mutant in her family out of two other siblings, her life being rough, was a damn right understatement. At the age of 2, Eleanor's powers had revealed from being underneath her skin all her life.

The ability of being a charm-speaker had all the perks in the world at the age of 7. The small brunette could tell anyone to do whatever she wanted, what ever she said, they did. Of course, her parents and older siblings didn't think much of it first; simply because the innocent girl was too cute to say 'no' too. But, as Eleanor grew older, her requests/demands became more manipulated. Asking (telling) her older brothers to do her homework and never having them object, or asking her parents to get her more clothes or things she didn't need. The world was Eleanor's for the taking.

Only, things changed after a year, on Eleanor's 17th birthday, she had a guest show up at the house instead of her birthday presents. Her suspicions grew, as her brother's eyed her evilly. The guest introduced himself as Charles Xavier, who offered a course for the art's program Eleanor had applied to awhile ago.

After a day's worth of packing, Eleanor Clarke was off to 'Xavier's School For Gifted Youngsters' — to what her family thought was an art college across the state. Charles Xavier made sure to talk to Eleanor in private, not forcing her to accept his and his staff's help for her mutation. But, seeing as she could meet more mutants and get a hold of her abilities (which sometime annoyed her.. Especially when it came to boys) she awkwardly accepted his offer.

Eleanor Clarke kissed her two mothers on the cheek, created tears in one her mother's eyes, hugged her brothers with one arm and left in the cab for her journey.
