**************Jace's POV**********
I walk into my room and set down my suitcase. "Finally" I think to myself, "I'm home."
Because I don't have to film anything for Henry Danger for the rest of the summer and Xander is done with college, we decided to go back to where we came from:New Mexico. I'm hoping it'll be sick (A.N. Yes I had to do that) but then again things get weird everytime I'm with Xander.
I then run-jump onto my bed and turn on my phone. The first thing I see is a text from Xander saying,"I'll be home soon dufus". I shake my head while smirking at the screen. Xander is a weird person. I start to think to when we were younger and would always go on "adventures with our camcorder".
Every time we went outside we would always either be body boarding or climbing trees or just chilling on our farm. Like one time we were outside in the woods for so long that our mom came out and yelled at us.
<*Flashback>*
"Xander and Jace you better come down from those trees right now!" my mom yells to us from the bottom of the tree.
Xander and I look at each other but stay in the branches of the tree. "I AM NOT SAYING IT AGAIN! GET DOWN NOW OR IM TAKING YOUR CAMERAS AWAY!" she screams.
While I quickly climb down the branches Xander jumps down 20 feet to the ground, landing on his back right in front of our mom's feet. "Ow fuc-" Xander stops because he realizes were both screwed.
"Give me the camera" she says annoyed.
"But-"
"Now!" she yells. Xander groans while rolling over to hand her the camera. I finally get to the ground and look at Xander and laugh.
"You're not in any less trouble" my mom says pissed.
<*End Flashback>*
I smile to myself while thinking of these thoughts. Things were honestly so simple back before I got famous. Can't change that now.
Xander's POV
I grab my bag from the baggage claim and head outside to find my uber. As I get outside, I get a phone call. I answer the call and a guy with a weird accent starts saying,"Aye-llo, vhere are you?" Great. My uber got lost... Again. I open up the uber app and look to see where my uber is without hanging up the call. He is literally a block away yet somehow got lost. "I'm right outside terminal 4b at the Sierra Blanca Regional Airport. (A.N. Yes it's real I looked up random airports and chose that 😂😂) You're only a block away from me," I sigh as I look at the uber map. "Phat? Huh?" the uber says through the phone as he makes a wrong turn. Shocker. This gonna be a long wait for me......
<*time skip>*
After a long time of time of yelling at an uber through a phone, he finally arrives. The uber comes out to put my bag in the trunk while I get in the car and relax.
As the uber gets back in the car, I text Jace "I'll be home soon dufus" and smirk while typing.
I then turn off my phone and stare out the window as the uber starts driving. "So what brings you to New Mexico?" the uber asks me out loud.
Oh god. I think to myself. I got the annoying talkative uber....
