He, or as everyone thought, she wrapped the thick, wool blanket around Meadow's head. Blood dripped from the blanket, and onto the laminated wood floor. He used his arm to wipe the beads of sweat from his forehead, brushing back his hair. Meadow fluttered her eyes open. She started screaming in agony from the cuts on her stomach. As if on cue, a baby started screaming. Her baby. "Help!" she screamed. Of course, no one had heard her. Her hands were in cuffs, and she struggled. She managed to get out of the blanket. He had fallen back, and he was laying on the floor. He stood up, and she smacked him with the cuffs; he fell back down. She fought to get the keys out of his pocket, and when she did she uncuffed herself.

*2 days earlier*

It was Friday, September 13, 1999. "Heeeeey Meadow!" Yelled Justine from across the hallway. Meadow replied with, "Hey, what's up Justine?" As she walked towards her. "I was wondering if you wanted to have a sleepover tomorrow at my house?" "That sounds great! I'll be there tomorrow at 6. That okay?" "Yeah, but I have to get to class, bye!" And Justine left. Meadow always thought there was something off about Justine. She blew it off when Justine was her only friend since she got pregnant with Jacob's baby. He was the punk rock type. Not afraid of getting in trouble. A rebel. Thats what she loved about him.

Though he doesn't love her.. She tried to not think much about it. It hurt her emotionally and almost physically.

Meadow got to Science class, and Jessica shoulder-checked her. Justine was still at the door and was still watching. "You were in my way," "I didn't mean to, back off." I fire back. I still down and before I know it, class ends.

I begin to gather my things when my binder falls. Jessica walks by and kicks some of my papers, "You really need to stop!" I snap at her. "Yeah? What are you going to do about it?" she says as she walks away, laughing with her friends.

Why did she pick me? To torture, to bully, why? She tormented me every day with her friends. When will it end? My thoughts get sidetracked when I hear noises in the hall and kids yelling.

I walk in the hall, and there's a crowd of people surrounding lockers. I push my way through.

(thank you guys so much! I know I'm new and stuff but I hope you like it? comment what you think and comment suggestions? thanks!
