New Home New Life Part 2

*****Tobias' POV*****

I had arranged for Clary and I to take a private jet to America. Flying on a public plane with a new-born baby without a car seat or something would look oddly suspicious.

Before we left I went to Babies R' Us and bought Clary some clothes and bottles and formula so she could have clothing to wear and food to eat/drink.

She was silent the whole ride. She wasn't sleeping the whole time we were on the jet but she was silent. It worried me. I could not help but wonder if her vocal nodules had been damaged. Or if she was just choosing not to speak. And, this kept nagging at the back of my mind. What if she were mute? Would she ever talk? I couldn't help but wonder and worry about her. It scared me that I didn't know what was going to happen. Its scared me that I knew I was all alone.

*************9 hours later************

We had arrived to America safely. The airport we had arrived at was the Chicago O' Hare airport. I still had yet to figure out where I was going to take Clary. Where I was going to raise her. I couldn't just figure everything out in one day.

I reserved a sweet in the Hilton Hotel in Chicago. It was a nice hotel that suited the needs and some of the wants that I needed.

Clary and I were staying on the top floor, there was a pool that was half way in our room and half way out onto the balcony.

The room was elegant and "fancy". A little to girly for my liking but it suited my needs so I was happy.

I bought a crib and put it together and I also bought some pillows and blankets for Clary. The crib was set up in the corner of the room where there was the least amount of light. It seemed as if she didn't like the sunlight which struck me odd.

She seemed to be only content when all of the lights were off and when I was near her. I had to bring the crib everywhere I went around the room because she would not calm down or stop crying unless I was near her.

It was very tiring and every night I could not help but wonder if Jessie were here what she would be doing. What we would be doing as a family.
