"Ah what a beautiful day." I said arising from my sleep
"MAI GET UP YOU'RE GOING TO BE LATE ON YOUR FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!" My mom yelled from downstairs.
I sniffed the air and I smelt my favorite breakfast, bacon and eggs!
"DON'T WORRY MOM I GOTCH YOU!" I yelled back.
I ran into my bathroom to take a quick warm shower. I blow dry my hair so it wouldn't look like wet dog hair, Yuck.
I put on my clothes that were a big maroon sweater, some leggings, and brown combat boots. I put on some mascara and brushed my teeth. I came downstairs to eat my delightful breakfast and said goodbye to my mom.
"Now, sweetie. Be safe and go have fun. But DO NOT do stupid things. Okay?" My mom said in the sweetest way possible.
"Yeah okay mom. Don't worry, I'll be safe. And I'll try to make new friends!" I said as I was walking out the door.
Wow, freshman year here I come. I waited by the stop sign for my bus to come. As I walked in,
"GUYS LOOK THATS THE NEW GIRL." A light brown haired boy with blue eyes said.
"HAH CONNOR I BET YOURE GONNA BANG THE NEW GIRL."
Another boy said to the boy that called me out which was named Connor.
Everyone had all eyes on me. I just tried to keep it cool and put my head down. As I was walking down the aisle of the bus, I sat next to this guy. He had brown hair and deep brown eyes, his smile looked so genuine.
"Hi I'm Mai Johansen, what's your name?" I said
"Well hello there, I'm Ricky Dillon. Are you new here?" He replied.
"Yeah I am. I was homeschooled." I said
"Oh cool, maybe we will have some classes together. By the way, do you like Pokemon?" He asked
"Yeah I do. My fav Pokemons are squirtle, vulpix, evee, or charmander."
I said with confidence.
"WOW YOU DO KNOW YOUR POKEMON." Ricky said with a smirk.
We just bonded over how Pokemon is, once we got to the actual school. I was really nervous, Ricky had to go meet up with his friends and I had no one else but me. I didn't know where to go.
"Hmm maybe I'll just go ov-" I fell to the floor by bumping into someone.
"Oh my gosh, wow. Maybe you should watch where you're going next time pal." A masculine voice said with a smirk. A boy with a dark hair with mesmerizing brown eyes helped me get up. He was really tall and really cute.
"I'm sorry, well bye?" I said with embarrassment and walked away as quickly as I could, he's kind of a jerk anyway.
I looked onto my schedule looking for my first class. Okay, freshman honors English room 313. As I walking to the door, I see a whole class of freshman waiting for class to start. The teacher calmed the class down,
"STUDENTS, this is your new classmate. Please be nice to her. And what's your name missy?" He asked
"Mai." I responded
"Okay Mai, you will sit next to Jc Caylen that's in the corner of the back row." He said pointing.
"Thank you, Mr. Erickson." I said
I say next to the boy with curly hair and amazing deep brown eyes.
"Hey, you new here?" He said really deeply
"Yeah I am." I said
"Do you wanna hang out later after school or something. To like get to know more people." He asked
"Yeah sure why not." I said
(Skipping onto after school)
Hmm where is Jc? He told me to meet him by the cafeteria... Oh there he is.
"Hey jc! Where are we even going?" I asked
"Hey Mai! Just a little surprise." He told me
"Well okay." We walked down to a house that was close by.
Um is this a party? ON A SCHOOL DAY?
"Is this a party?" I asked not trying to flip out
"Haha, yeah it is." He said with a smirk
"Okay, I'll can stay for few." I said with hesitation
"Oh come on Mai, it's not going to be that bad." He takes me by hand and pulls me into the house.
"YO THIS PARTY IS LIT" he shouted.
Everybody started to say "AYYE JC" or "YOOO DUUDE" to him
"Want a drink? We do NOT have alcohol if you were wondering." He said with laughter.
"Haha um ok. Just water." I said
"Be right back Mai." He said
I was standing alone. With no one to talk to. I wonder if Ricky is here?
I looked around the house to find is he was here. Found him!
"Hey Ric- oof." I bumped into someone
"Wow. Watch where you're going." I heard a familiar voice. It was the tall cute guy from school.
"You bumped into me. That's not cool. Well bye." I tried to say with sass
"Oh geez. It's the new girl. I'm sorry. Well I'm Kian. I'm sure you remember me haha." He said
"Yeah. Okay. Bye." I do not like this guy at all.
I walked away and went up to the spot where Ricky was and he wasn't there.
Oh but there Jc.
"Hey Jc, where were you?" I asked
"Oh hey, here's your drink. And I was just in the kitchen." He said
"Well you know that tall dude named Kian?" I said
"Yeah I do." He replied
"He's kind of a jerk, I don't know. I don't like him." I said
"Eh, he's fine Mai. He's my best mate. He might look or sound cocky and mean. But actually he's a good friend. But if he's bugging you just let me know." He said
"Oh okay, thanks Jc." I hugged him.
"Here let's exchange numbers." He said
We exchanged number and my mom called me saying I need to go home for dinner.
"Bye Jc! See you at first period!" I said leaving the house.
Okay this first part seemed kind of boring, don't worry the story get better. And my character Mai is getting along with Jc well and not with Kian for a reason, just letting you guys know!
