"Just try and roll with it"

◇Chapter 1◇

"Bye mom! Bye dad! thanks again!" I shut the door and sighed. I finally get to relax. My parents let Tails and I stay at there house for the summer because they went on vacation to there summer home. I was pretty happy like normally, I got to stay in my old room. Plus I can walk and take runs through the woods I used to hang out in when i was little. Maybe even take Tails out there.

I began to walk up the stairs to my room, and laughed a bit at the thought of Tails walking through the woods in the middle of summer having a good time. He'd probably be more interested in all the bugs than the view itself.

Although Tails was a good kid. He was pretty smart, and kind. Only problem is that he's constantly working on his machines-or-whatever. I shook my head dropping the thought, and opend my door. I set down my last bag next to my bed. I didn't need much. I didn't really wear clothes.

I plopped down in my bed messing it up quite a bit. I never really got why my mom left my room the way it was when I left, but, that didn't really matter.

I started to get nervous for some odd reson. I felt like I needed to...do something. I was probably just antsy to go for a run. I got up off my bed and headed down the stairs to Tails' make shift work shop. I opened the door and peeked in, "Tails...?"

He was standing by his desk, looking at some sort of paperwork that I probably wouldn't understand.

Knowing he was way deep in his thought I walked in and made sure he heard my foot steps.

He turned around quickly, "Oh! Sonic! Sorry I didn't see you there, " he shuffled up his papers back in a pile and set them in the corner of his desk.

"Yeah, sorry if I startled you," I rubbed the back of my neck and tilted my head a bit. Kinda awkwardly.

"No, it's alright. So did you want to tell me something?"

"Oh yeah, I was going out for a run quick. Do you have all your stuff put away?"

"Yep, I just ran across some recent readings form a friend of mine. They seamed kinda funky..."

"Ah, I'm sure it's fine. I'll see you in a bit," I waved a quick bye and headed for the door,"

"Okay Sonic, see ya!"

I smirked at him and closed the door behind me.

it smells like chicken in here...alrighty. Welp, I hope you guys liked my first chapter of my first fanfic^^ ...god it really smells like chicken....ugh. okay well yeah, I'm not sure when I'll have the next chapter soooo...yeah. enjoy what i have X3
