💠 Ja'far's birthday party //part 3// 💠

After not too long you arrive to the dining room, taking a sit next to Morgiana.

"Good morning, Morg" you say to the quiet fanalis.

"Good morning, Miss (y/n)" she replies politely, as always.

As the others arrive you say good mornings to everyone until there is no one missing.

Everybody says happy birthday to Ja'far, who thanks them all and then keeps talking to Sin about how the fact it is his birthday does not affect him doing his work.

After not too long breakfast is served and you all start eating.

"Sister (y/n)"

You turn your head and find Aladdin looking at you.

"What is it, Aladdin?" ypu ask with a soft smile.

"Uncle Sinbad told me to ask you if you could go buy the cake for Ja'far's party and told me to explain you the plan, he is going to distract him while you buy the cake, then we have a few free hours and then we need you to distract him until we are done with the decorations" he whispers with a smile.

"Okay, no problem! I'll get the cake and distract him later" you whisper back and smile as well.

"Thanks" he says.

You finish your breakfast and thank for it, then go back to your room, grab your money and make your way to the entrance of the palace.

While walking down the halls you are fully able to see Sin fulfilling his job distracting the former assassin.

“Come on, Ja'far! I really don't want to work! It's your birthday" argues the stubborn purple haired king, making the white haired frown.

"Sin! That's not an excuse! You are the king!" as they argue you walk pass and rush to the streets, deciding to go to a really nice bakery near the market place Sinbad and you had decided to order from after wandering around the market for a while.

After deciding your plan was good enough you start walking through the many stalls, looking around the different merchandise.

As expected, you spot some cute or pretty things among the many offers, but nothing that you quite feel compelled to buy.

//How can there not be anything? Well, I better hurry with the cake// you think and rush to the bakery.

Immediately after you enter the little shop you're amazed by the beautiful cakes, sprinkled with different toppings and frosted in different patterns.

While looking around you walk up to the cashier.

"Welcome! How may I help you?" she says with a polite smile.

“Good morning, well, I am looking for a nice, big cake for a birthday party tonight" you say while smiling.

“I see, may I ask who is it for?"

"Sure, It is for Ja'far, you know, the king's advisor" you say and her eyes widen.

"Y-yeah, the king send a letter two days ago about him needing a cake! We have it almost ready! Let me go get it!" she says and rushes inside.

You chuckle a bit, slightly amused by how nervous she got.

After waiting for about five minutes she and other two girls arrive, carrying a beautiful two layer cake covered in white frosting, strawberries in the first and biggest platform and kiwi jam on the top, it also had small pieces of chocolate in the white frosting on the top, adorning it with various patterns.

You look at the cake in amazement.

"The king told us that someone would come looking for this cake and asked us to show it to him or her" explains the first female.

“Do you like it?" Asks another of the girls.

"Y-yes, it's beautiful" you say in awe and the three girls smile.

"That's great! We will be delivering the cake at 6:00 p.m by the main entrance" she explains and you nod.

When you're done paying for the cake and panning the delivery you walk back to the palace.

Taking out your pocket clock and seeing it was only 1:30, you made your way back to your room and locked yourself in there.

You sit on your desk and look at the drawing you made that morning, taking out a large wood box from one of the drawers the desk has and opening it.

Inside the box lay a bunch of colors, every kind of blue, green, yellow, orange, pink, every single color you could think of was inside that box.

You begin looking for all the colors you will need and then start coloring the drawing.

//I couldn't find a gift... what am I going to do?! Maybe If I go to some stores around the market place I may find something nice, but, what exactly?//

You continue shading the drawing, re-making the traces with ink until you're done.

 
You look at the now completed picture, your eyes suddenly widening.

“That's it!!!!" you realize.

How could you not have noticed before? If you can't find something nice you can draw something nice, you are really good at drawing after all!

You stare at the drawing and start thinking.

//What can I draw for him? I want something really nice... I know!!!//

With skillful movements you give the drawing more details, placing it aside once finished before taking out another piece of paper and start sketching again.

After a few hours you look at the drawing in your desk.

It was a picture of Ja'far, Masrur, Yam, Sharrkan, Pisti and Spartos when they where kids, laying on the grass.

You take the drawing and carefully put it on top of the one you did before, placing them both in a paper folder you made and decorated.

Once you're done with the folder you take an envelope and a piece of paper out of the drawer, snatching your quill and ink before you start writing.

It doesn't take you much longer, putting the letter and drawings together with a smile in your face.

After you place them in the safety of your desk you take out your pocket clock, eyes widening.

"WHAT THE FLUFF?! It's four already?! Sin told me to distract Ja'far!" you reproach yourself and rush out of your room.

With a swift turn You make your way to Ja'far's office, spotting Sin leaving the room.

As the purplette sees you he nods slightly, giving you the hint to start the plan. You nod back.

The king rushes to the living room as you stand in front of the door and knock 3 times, which was your code for Ja'far to know it was you.

"Come in, (y/n)" he says and you open the door.
