It had been two rough months, after breaking up with Britney. I was working hard on making music videos for my album, Futuresex/Lovesounds, and preparing on making tour dates. I had almost everything ready for the tour that started in a month. The last two months have been hard work, but also pestering of the media about the Justney break up for the millionth time. I was tired of hearing of our break up on the latest gossip magazine, TV show, or in any social media website. This break up had been the latest juiciest gossip in those two months and it bothered me.

After hard days in two months, I thought it'd be fair if I went out with Trace and Tiffany to get some drinks to celebrate my new upcoming tour. I knew my limit on drinks, so I'd have a few drinks then I'd go home before I stayed too long and I'd regret what happened the next day.

I walked to an empty seat by the bar as I waited for Trace and Tiffany to arrive. I ordered a drink while I waited for them, but when I waited I saw a young lady by the karaoke stage. She was pretty hot. She had wavy dark brown hair with pale skin. She looked about five foot seven. This girl looked quite sexy with her black tight sleeveless mid thigh dress with an deep v-neckline. I was interested in what she was going to do up on that stage. Sing? Introduce the audience to the person or band who might had been performing night.

"Hello, everyone. Uh. . .I haven't done this in so long. I wanted to treat you all to a song I want to sing tonight. The song I'll be singing is a cover to Kelly Clarkson, Since U Been Gone." She said.

The music began in the background to the song and then she started to sing.

Here's the thing we started off friends
It was cool but it was all pretend
Yeah, yeah
Since U Been Gone

The girl had a beautiful voice. A sweet, strong voice that could either go high like a soprano or low like an alto. She was a great singer all the way. She had the voice that made me want to listen more. Not just that, but her facial expressions were in good shape. She made me feel the emotion that she was describing in the song.

How can I put it? You put me on
I even fell for that stupid love song
Yeah, yeah
Since U Been Gone

How come I'd never hear you say
I just wanna be with you
I guess you never felt that way

I felt something good in this girl's voice. It was had something that made any other voice different. I felt with her voice she could have been a mega pop artist with that voice. And didn't she say she hadn't sang in some time ago. She still sounded like she'd been singing for ages.

Thanks to you (thanks to you)
Now I get (I get)
You should know (you should know)
That I get, I get what I want
Since U Been Gone
Since U Been Gone
Since U Been Gone

She finished her last note of the song. The crowd clapped and rooted for her, finishing the song. She took a bow and thanked everyone. She was stupendous. If I could get a chance to talk to her and ask how long she'd been singing. She sounded perfect and had the perfect feel to the song. After the crowd finished applauding for her I stood up and ran over near the stage. I saw her walk backstage. I wanted to get the chance to just a good look at the girl.

But I couldn't since Trace and Tiffany had just arrived. Trace whistled to get my attention. I turned and saw he was sitting at the table I was sitting at. I smiled and joined Trace and Tiffany. "Hey, Tiff. Trace." I greeted them.

"Hello, Justin." Trace said.

I took a seat in front of the two. "Can I ask, Jay, why you were standing by the karaoke stage?" Tiffany asked.
