The Vigilante

I was at Marcus's house. Him and his dad are letting me live with them intill I get my own place. I am sleeping on the couch though. One morning I wake up to Marcus right in my face. I scream. He starts laughing. I just glare at him. Douglas walks down stairs.
     "I need to talk to your dad". That was...surprising.
" Why? " i ask
"To ask him how he made you"
" In which way? " i said looking at him weird.
Marcus snickers.
" In the cat way"
     " I can show you wear he lives, but im not talking to him "
      We go over to my old house. Its light blue w/ white trim. Douglas goes up to the door. Me and Marcus stay in the car. We what a guy come to answer the door, but it wasn't my dad. They talk, then he comes back to the car. He sighs.
      " What happened " i ask. He hesitated. And the answer I got was unexpected.
      " Your dads.....dead, he was murderd"
I stopped. I know he abandoned me, but he's still my dad. So my mom left, now my dads dead, what now. I get out of the car and start walking. I told them to go back. I chang into cat form, then I see my cat friend Midnight. I walk over.
" Hey "
" Hi "
" My dad died "
"I heard "
I sigh
" Why did you leave your adopted family. I told her.
" I like Marcus, and i think he likes me"
" You like the old guy? "
" No, thats Marcus dad Douglas "
"Come with me, I no who can help you "
"My owner "
I change into human form.
        We go to Midnight's owners house. I knock on the door. An old lady w/ red hair answers the door.
     "  Yes "
     " Hi, is this your cat " i hold up Midnight.
     " Midnight " she breathed
     " She keeps following me "
   She tells me to come in. I see alot of cats i knew. None of them knows its me but for Midnight.
   " My name is Opheila Powers "
   " Im Feya "
She gives me a box that smells amaizing. I open it. There is a ball. I stare at it, then i smush it against and rub it in my face.
" Catnip" says Opheila
" My dad made me this way, but he is dead now "
She takes me up the the second floor to her house. Its like an inside balcony.
" I knew you would come, when you were ready. "
" What do you mean"
"I knew your father, he told me he was going to do this to you. So you would become the next Catwomen"
" What, im not some Catwomen "
Then she pushes me off. But i flip around and land on my hands and knees.
" Dont be scared child. Midnight picked you. She knew your past, and wanted you to do something w/ your knew power. "
She hands me a black cat mask.
"Accept it, and besides he gave you this power for a reason"
"What reason would i need this for "
"He gave it to you so you could fine your mother "
" The mother who left us, left me at 9. "
" There is more to it than that "
" Tell me "
" I cant, but you will learn "
I thank her and left i told her i accepted it, and i did. I'll become the next catwomen, and find my mom. But i also want to find out other stuff. Like why my dad was murderd.
