"What's your name?" The man in front of me asked. I tried to stiffen up no one should have seen me crying. "Katelyn." I said confidently. He smiled. "I'm Y/N." I nodded. I looked down. "If you don't mind me asking, Why we're you crying?" I heard Y/N ask. "I was just," I paused. "I was running away. I've been the forest for 2 years and I turned into a mei'faw which I never thought was possible. I ran away from the Jury of 9. I was part of them. Until, I decided I couldn't take it anymore and left. Zane killed the people I care most about." I felt a tear run down my face. Y/N came and spooned me and for once in my life, I felt safe.
