Chapter 2

"I'm asking everybody who has a health card, to join the quarantine zone situated 50 miles away, for security. One truck will take only 50 people...per day.", I heard a sudden and familiar voice. I woke up and I noticed that I was in my room.
"Oooooh shut up!", I yelled getting up.
I entered my bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face, then I turned in my room, changing my clothes.
"I'm asking everybody who has a health card, to join the quarantine zone situated 50 miles away, for security. One truck will take only 50 people...per day.", the voice said again in some sort of microphone, being heard everywhere in the city.
"Mom?", I said going downstairs, in the kitchen.
"Over here!", I heard a man outside the house.
"Mom?", I said again, walking everywhere in the house.

Then, I arrived at the front window, where I saw mom in the street being covered in blood next to a car, trying to understand what had just happened. I opened the door and yelled: "Mom?"
"Get in the house!", mom yelled back turning around at me.
"What is goin' on here?", I asked still at the doorway.
"Get in the FUCKING house!", she screamed again making me close the door instantly.
"Wait...isn't that an infected?", I asked myself looking at the creature under the car. I was simply standing at the window, staring at the car.
I backed up, noticing that mom was returning to the house; I got near the sofa and then...just a few seconds before she opened the door, I felt something burning close to me. Then I looked down at my hands seeing them covered with some kind of smoke. Then, mom-

"Oh my god! What is happening?"
"I d-don't know b-but...I'm pretty sure this are Delsin's powers", I said still looking at my hands.
"Infamous: Second Son!", mom yelled.
"Yeah...oh uhm...about the car accident...didn't you notice the infected under the car?", I said staring at the window.
"I-infected??...We need to get out of here...", mom whispered.
"Fast", I said whispering too.
"But how-"
" I'm asking everybody who has a health card, to join the quarantine zone situated 50 miles away, for security. One truck will take only 50 people...per day.", the same female voice was heard.
"Oooooooooh", mom said like someone who was discovering something.
"Tomorrow will be 2 trucks transporting 100 people per day, because a few minutes ago, was found an infected in the south.", the voice continued after my "that's right".
"But you...what are you gonna do with your powers? And...h-how did you get them?", mom asked while she started to search for supplies.
"I think it's the soda or the food I ate yesterday; and about what 'I'm gonna do'...I'll use this powers to save more and more people until we leave.", I answered making the smoke to come again through my hands.
"The food? You don't even touch it!', mom said coming in the living room with the same small box in which I got the food.
"Soo...it could be the soda?", I asked taking the can in my hands, shaking it and noticing that was empty.
"It might be...but what exactly was in it?", mom asked.
"I'm not sure...are these the only powers?", I asked putting the soda can in the recycle bin.
"Let's find out.", mom said, going in the kitchen to protect herself. "Try to put the hand like a 'stop'!", she continued.
"Alright...here we-", I started but in a few seconds mom was backward in the hallway going in the kitchen, I was standing in the same place and then, the car accident happened again, this time I was there seeing everything.
"Holy shit!", mom whispered running to the door, opening it and getting out.
"Mom??", I yelled and she turned back, looking confused at me.
"What?"
"Holy moly...this thing with the car...happened twice...", I said looking at my hands.
"I'll be back...there are some people in that car...", mom said opening the door again and walking outside leaving me all alone in the living room.
Then she came back, as she did before, discovered Delsin's powers, found out how to get out from the city. Until...
"I rewinded the time...", I said looking again at my hands.
"Rewind? You mean...this had thing happened before?", mom asked.
"Uh-uh..", I answered.
"Which means...I've already asked you what are you gonna do with your powers?", mom asked again, cleaning the table next to the sofa.
"Yeah!!", I yelled with a pervert face, making mom jump.
