Julie's pov
I walk to the door of my classroom. I put on the same fake smile I have been wearing for years. I put my hand on the handle to the door. Wondering if I should walk into the the classroom. I sigh as I open the classroom door. Kids look at me with smirks on there faces. I walk in only to trip on my shoelace and fall. I catch myself but, my books went everywhere.

I hear kids laugh and snicker. I look up to see a guy get out of his seat. He runs over to me. He starts to pick up some of my stuff. I feel my hand accidentally touch his. I take my hand back. "Thanks..." I say quietly. "No problem." He says handing me my books. "My name's Tom by the way." He said. I nodded.. "Julie." I say Not making eye contact. He places something on my book.

I finally make eye contact with him. He smiles and sits at his seat. I go to my seat in the back of the room. I look what he placed on my book. It was a peace of paper. I turned it over and read what it said.

Call me! 460-657-8861.

I smile. This wasn't a fake smile I wear everyday.. But a real smile..
