Dear Diary,
I was seven when it happened, but that doesn't mean I dont remember what happened. I was sitting with him in the waiting room while I was waiting for my sister to be born. All of a sudden, he told me to wait in the waiting room. I asked him where he was going and he said on a walk, I'll be back in a little bit. All I could say was okay and just wait. When mom got back she asked where he was and I said he went on a walk about an hour ago. That's when the nurse said "He told me you were divorced and he had to catch a plane." I looked at my mom and she had no emotion in her eyes. She just said lets go Jackie. And I wanted to know where Daddy was but I didn't dare ask after what I saw on her face. It scared me. It still does. Now I lock myself in my room when mom has been drinking.
