'Coffee'
"With enough coffee, I feel as though all things are possible. Many of them are highly unlikely, but they are possible."

The rest of the first week flew by. The teachers thankfully haven't given us much homework yet, so my week hasn't been jam-packed.
I ended up finding 'The Outsiders' at the Public Library. The day after, I went to Mrs. Frolick for approval and she said it was a great choice. She also mentioned that Flynn also chose it as his book and that we might be able to work on some things together.
Ha.
Like that would ever happen.
This morning I wake up to Summer sitting at my desk playing a game on her phone. Finding Summer in the apartment like this isn't unusual. Her family is crazy rich and her parents aren't home most of the time, so when she turned 13 we gave her a key to our house because she's practically family anyway.
"Oh, you're finally awake. So, I was thinking that today we could go shopping and then get lunch at Kane's Diner," She recites as if she has our plans memorized.
"Shopping?" I ask distastefully, knowing very well that I wasn't going to get out of this.
"Yes, Wren, shopping. I know you hate it, but it's a new school year and you should treat yourself to some new clothes," She says with a determined look in her eye.
"Ugh, fine," I mumble, slowly climbing out of bed.
"Yay!" She exclaims, standing up.
I go to my closet and slip on some black skinny jeans and a plain white t-shirt. I go brush my hair and teeth and Summer and I head to the kitchen where Wesley is making breakfast.
"Where are y'all going today?" Wesley asks while putting the pancakes on a plate.
"Shopping!" Summer squeals.
Wesley looks over at me and smiles, "Shopping? Did you both agree on that?" he asks knowing I hate shopping.
"Unfortunately," I answer while shoving a pancake into my mouth.
"Who are you and what have you done with my sister?" He smirks and pours syrup all over his pancakes.
"Funny," I mumble.
"Anyways, we should probably get going soon, Wren." She says while slipping on her jacket.
I take my final sip of milk and slip on my jean jacket aswell. We walk down and get in Summer's Black Rolls Royce and drive to the mall.

After a successful 3 hours of shopping, Summer and I are finally driving to Kane's Diner.
I got some new dresses, 3 pairs of jeans, 2 pairs of shorts, a few t-shirts, and some new sneakers.
I can actually say that it wasn't as horrible as many other shopping escapades Summer and I have been on.
