Hell-um at Applause

Chapter 3

IT WAS THE NEXT DAY. Jack, Lindsey, Sara, and Ben were laughing hysterically at the events of the previous night.

"I guess when we made that joke about the song lyric

'Pray, pray, pray, I think that Nadav is gay'

we were spot on!" laughed Ben

"Funny, but don't you feel kinda bad for Chase?" said Lindsey.

Sara, Jack, and Ben could all agree that they did

THE NEW POWER COUPLE NOAH AND HOPE had surfaced and Chase was PISSED. First Nadav, now this? "What did I do to deserve all this crap?" thought Chase, "I'm a good person. Right, Mr. Nibbles?" He said this out loud to his stuffed cat.

Mr. Nibbles didn't reply. Chase wasn't surprised. Mr. Nibbles was the "strong, silent type".

HOPE WAS SITTING IN HER ROOM also thinking of the events of the previous night. She had feelings for Noah, but she also had feelings for Chase. But then she realized something HORRIBLE.

"What would people call Noah and Hope if they were a couple?" she thought.

"Oh no, it can't be, NOOOOOOOOO!" Hope said this out loud and her little brother gave her a really weird look.

"THEY WOULD CALL US 'NOPE!'" she yelled at the top of her lungs. She instantly started bawling.

And now, she knew what had to be done.
