Chapter 5: Questionable Actions

Eddie, Kevin, Aleks, and James were passed out on the couch. They were basically candy wasted. There were candy wrappers all over the floor. Aleks was the first one to wake up so he looked around. 'Wow dude, that was a crazy night'. Aleks noticed that James' head was on his lap so Aleks just admired him. The mess was bothering Aleks, but he couldn't stand up because he didn't want to wake James. Eddie was the next to wake up and saw Aleks, who was fully awake.

"Morning" Eddie whispered. 

"Morning" Aleks replied.

Eddie got up and went to go get a drink. Aleks just looked him. Aleks wanted to get up to join Eddie, but James was too cute for him to bother. Eddie came back with two glasses of water and handed one to Aleks.

"Thanks" Aleks said. 

"No problem" Eddie said.

Eddie looked like he wanted to say something, but something was preventing him from saying it. Aleks noticed and raised his eyebrow at Eddie. Eddie smiled.

"What?" Eddie asked cheerfully. 

"What's up?" Aleks asked. 

"Nothing!" 

"You sure?" 

"Okay I'm not sure" 

"What is it?" 

"About that person you liked" 

"What about them?" 

"Can you tell me who it is?"

At this time, James woke up, but both Eddie and Aleks continued talking. James just pretended to sleep while overhearing the conversation.

"I can't..." Aleks said. 

"Why not?" asked Eddie. 

"I told you, it might affect the Creatures" 

"Dude, don't worry about it! You can tell me anything" 

"But..." 

"Okay, just describe them" 

"Well, they have a smile that can stop wars and cure cancer. Their sense of humor is so adorable. It turns me on when they say my full name. Just, whenever we talk I get butterflies in my stomach. Even though we fight, I know that everything will be alright in the end"

James started to blush and decided to nonchalantly turn his head away from Aleks so he wouldn't see him blush. 'This fuck, why is he so damn cute?'

"Well, it seems like they mean a lot to you" Eddie said. 

"Yeah, they do" Aleks said. 

"Don't let the Creatures affect your relationship" 

"But work comes first. Besides, I'm the newest Creature and it would be pretty fucked up if I was the one to ruin it" 

"Aleks" 

"Yes, Eddie?" 

"Can you please tell me who it is?" 

"It's J-"

Suddenly, Kevin started to yawn and he woke up. Kevin looked around and saw that Eddie and Aleks were awake. He smiled at the both of them. Kevin checked to see if James was awake, but James was drooling on Aleks' lap. Kevin lightly kicked James' leg with his foot and James just groaned.

"Well, seems like everyone is awake" Eddie remarked. 

"Yeah. We need to go see Dan and Koots in a few hours" Aleks said.
