louis pouted. snow was beginning to fall on the roof of his mum's car. finally, his school was on winter break. it was his favourite  because it was christmas and his birthday. he was glad to be away from all the bullies at his school, because they teased him for wearing lilac jumpers and wearing his faveourite beanie. once jay pulled home, louis happily ran inside and put his bag down. he wanted to go outside, in the snow. he wrapped himself in his favourite fluffy sweater and fixed his beanie in the small mirror on his desk. once he was satisfied with his clothing, he walked out the door again and quickly shut it to prevent the cold air seeping into his warm house. the snow fell onto his beanie and his fringe that fell out of the beanie, dotting it in white flakes. louis smiled to himself and kicked the snow, his hands beginning to get cold. he shoved them in the pocket is his jumper, trying to shield them from the cold. he heard a small huff from somebody who'd walked past his house. louis glanced up at the boy, concealed under a jumper with curls falling down the side of his face, making louis blush because he thought that this boy looked adorable. the boy in the black jumper looked up at louis' figure, taking in what he looked like. louis watched him stare at his lilac jumper and wondered if he liked it. he might have not liked his pretty jumper, but maybe he liked his beanie. louis noticed that against the white snow and the boy's pale face, he had gorgeous green eyes. louis' eyes widened as he thought how someone could look so beautiful. he shook his head, remembering how the bullies at school had told him that he's a gay loser. even though louis knew it was the truth, he was in fact gay. liam, his only friend, told him that it was okay that he's gay. liam had told louis that whatever richard, the one boy who always bullied him, says or does to him it shouldn't affect him. louis huffed and stared back at the boy with stunning green eyes and curly hair until the boy gave one last smile and walked away with his hands in his pockets. louis felt a presence beside him and looked around to see lottie, his sister, standing beside him.

"hi louis, how are you?" lottie asked softly. lottie was the only one who really understood him properly in his family. phoebe and daisy were plainly too young to understand the entire meaning of gay. his mum, on the other hand, knew he was gay but louis knew that's not what she wanted. louis knew that jay wanted him to be straight, like the rest of the family. she tried to ignore it but sometimes louis got on her nerves, causing him to get upset. not to mention he was quite sensitive and is easily hurt.

"'m good." louis said, sighing. he couldn't stop thinking about the pretty boy with gorgeous green eyes that had walked past with the perfect curly hair. he shuffled in the snow, crushing it as he did so. jay called them inside after a while of silence and louis felt glad that he didn't have to stand outside with lottie any longer in total silence. he dashed off into his bedroom and shut the door. he felt very tired and needed sleep, but he knew that he should make himself something to eat then he can eat. lottie brought him up some chicken, stuffed with mozzarella, wrapped in parma ham with a side of homemade mash. he grumbled his thanks but felt helpless.

"just because i'm gay doesn't i can't cook." he said as lottie walked to the door. she threw him a sympathetic glance and walked out, closing the door. louis ate slowly, seeing he was getting very tired by now. once he'd finished he washed his plate and put it away. he gladly removed his clothing, revealing his favourite pink laced underwear. he blushed every time he saw them but he liked to wear them. louis tucked himself into his blankets and drifted into a warm sleep. he dreamed about the green eyed boy and his gorgeous locks.

he woke up on saturday morning with a cup of tea beside his bed. he knew it had probably been lottie since she was the only person who seemed to care enough to make him a cup of tea. the rest of his family did care about him though, it just changed ever since he came out to the rest of his family. not including lottie, she was the first person he told. daisy and phoebe were encouraging towards him and they always jump to his defense in any situation. everybody else just seemed to disconnect from him. he sees the other kids at school mum's greet them nicely and with love and talk to them in the car journey but jay didn't anymore. she didn't dare say anything, not even a simple 'how was your day?'. he knew it was hard for her but he came out quite some time ago and she still acts as if he's going to do something stupid like bring home the curly hair and green eyed boy and make out with him in front of everybody. not that it was a bad idea but jay had said it was a bad influence on the younger children so therefor he was not aloud to bring any boys home. there had been an exception for liam though because louis couldn't stand only having lottie to talk to at home. jay liked liam a lot and always tries to tell louis to be like liam because he's straight and has lots of friends and isn't bullied because he likes to wear lilac jumpers and soft beanies and he isn't gay. louis gently sighed as he finished drinking his tea. he looked out the small window in his simple bedroom that he adored and saw that it was snowing again. this lifted his spirit and he happily got dressed into some white jeans and his pastel pink jumper. his toes were freezing cold so he put on some socks and once he was warm, he made his was up to the kitchen. the sweet smell of pancakes wafted up his nose but the horrible smell of grease made him feel disgusting and icky. he greeted the twins and gave them each a loose hug but all he got was chewed up pieces of pancake as they tried to reply. he chuckled and ruffled daisy's hair and walked around to lottie, who was about to flip a pancake. louis saw the whipped cream on the table and grabbed it quickly, squirting some into his mouth. louis swallowed it and enjoyed the creamy taste on his taste buds. lottie giggled and wiped off some excess whipped cream that somehow managed to get on his nose. he placed himself between the twins as lottie handed him a plate with one pancake on it.

"what have you got, daisy?" he asked, turning to his right and looking down at her plate. the pancake was hardly visible through all the toppings piled on top of it. he dipped his finger in the whipped cream on phoebe's pancake, causing her to slap away his hand and cover her plate defensively.

"i've got ice cream, whipped cream, strawberries, maple syrup and chocolate sauce." daisy said proudly as she stated her toppings. he smiled at her and put a few strawberries on his pancake and carefully put on his maple syrup, trying to make it look decent and presentable. he received many compliments about his topping display. he ate it happily and laughed with his three sisters. soon jay came out with bed hair. the girls playfully teased about it but he stayed quiet about her hair because he would get yelled at by jay for being rude. it had happened before and it wasn't the jay he knew. he only wanted her to look at him the same as she did before he came out to her though he knew it would never happen. he washed and cleaned his plates then went back to his room to listen to some music and be left alone with his thoughts as per usual.

the day dragged on and eventually he went outside. it was still snowing and the ground was coated with a layer of snow. he made little patterns in the snow with the tip of his shoes. he was no artist but felt as if his snow art was beautiful enough. he was just about to walk inside from the cold but before he could, he spotted the green eyed boy again. louis was in awe of how gorgeous he looked, with the snow embedded in his curls and on his face. he thought that the boy looked stunning. louis smiled warmly at him, trying to catch his attention. he obviously did because he smiled back and waved. louis made an inhumane choking noise and waved back. the pretty boy's smile was even more beautiful than his eyes, it was breathtaking. he had perfect teeth and lips and his smile overall was just so pretty. louis smiled again as the gorgeous boy walked away, a warm feeling rush through him. he happily went inside and snuggled with lottie and watched his faveourite movie, grease. jay walked in and surprisingly gave them both a warm hot chocolates with marshmallows in them. louis only liked the white ones and luckily jay had thought about it enough to remember he only liked the white ones.

"just how you like it." she smiled as she handed it to him. he smiled back, feeling for once in a long time that jay had accepted him.
