"I'm telling you, to win we have to go on the offensive!" Ryan would yell. "That's Ridiculous! They'll, score on us, if they cant score, then how will they win?!" Aura would say angrilly through gritted teeth. "If we can overwhelm them, how will they keep up with us?!"Ryan would say back. Ryan H. Strider, Fire Wizard, extremely competitive, always fighting with Aura. Ryan always thought Offense was the best defense, whereas Aura thought Defense was the best offense. They were both leader's, and always tried to take control, so they'd clash more often than titans.
We were on a field in the middle of the Oasis, what off-landers would call summer. We were in a tournament of roses. Roses was a game where'd there'd be two teams, who each have three goals to defend. There was a ball that was able to be charged with magic, to give it special attributes. Each team had to get the ball into the opposing teams goals. It's extremely dangerous, no rules, but to be careful of the crowd, and no fighting. Although if you hurt the crowd, you're heavily penalized. But fighting is hardly punished.
"Um guys?" Speckles would step in. "Why not just have a good Defense and a good offense?" They paused, and looked at him, then back at each other. "That's probably a good idea." I'd chime in. "The team we're challenging is extremely unpredictable."
"What do you mean?" Ryan asked.
"Unlike the others with a defined strategy, they swap between offense at random. I'll give you information from the sidelines, rather than playing." They nodded, and gathered the team. Two fire users, a single Lightning user, and two shadow users. a rather large team, but the limit was eight.
I don't remember what happened during that game, but i was told we won.
