And So, It Begins

•Chapter Two•

Waking up slowly, I started sharpening my blade in boredom. No one had recently done any sinful deeds lately, which was quite odd, this being a rebellious town and all. Before I went asleep, I had said hello to Sally, and Tails Doll then started jumping across buildings to get home. This town was like Gothem, and I was it's Batman. Oh? You thought I was all evil and just killed for my own insanity? Well, you though wrong.

I got off my 'bed', which is actually a chair, and walked outside with all my weapons in a suitcase. I breathed in the forest air deeply before murmuring to myself; "time to move again.."

I pulled my hoody back to let my hair stray out of the small space, then checked my phone to see that I had one text message from the Midget known as Ben. I rolled my eyes and ignored it for later, shoving my phone back into my hoody pocket and adjusting my hand to the suitcase handle before launching myself in a sprint deeper into the forest.

I shifted my attention to a shadow in the corner of my eye.

Big mistake.

I tripped over a log even a blind man could see. I expected to land perfectly on my feet in a backflip, but I just kept falling. Looking around, I realize..

I'm falling from the flippin' sky!! Am I still asleep?! No! I already woke up! Wait.. why am I panicking?

I summoned my black feathered demon wings to my back, and started flapping pretty hard. When I'd calmed down, I started to glide-spiral towards the ground.

I was way above the trees, when something hit my right side. I hissed in pain and started to hover so I could see what hit me. It was a fork..a silver fork. "If I take this out, I'll bleed," I murmured to myself. I felt something brush my wings and I turned my head to face the red glowing eyes of a crow demon.
