*Percy's P.O.V*

Harry and I walked in silence down the corridor. I was absolutely furious, I couldn't even think straight! Who did that toad think she was coming in and feeding everyone in the class lies about Harry and everything else?! And now, I had detention for doing the thing I had promised I would do, Protect Harry!

Mrs Weasly had pulled me aside as everyone else got ready to leave for Hogwarts. She led me slightly further away from the group and looked me carefully in the eye with a pleading look, 'Percy, Harry has no idea just how bad things really are. I know I haven't known you long and I hate asking you for this but could you please watch over him? He has the tendency to get himself into trouble. It would really make it easier for me if I knew he was in good hands .' She was looking up at me worriedly. She'd looked so much like Sally that I couldn't help the fond smile that had stretched across my face. 'I promise'

I turned to look at Harry who was still red in the face and staring straight ahead. "Well this is a great start to a new school then!" I tried to make the air less tense. Harry gave a little chuckle, turning to face me as well.

"Yea. Thanks for sticking up for me though." He gave me the first genuine smile all summer.

"She had it coming." I replied with a smile of my own, though it was more of a grin I suppose. We had now reached Professor McGonagall's room and Harry reached out with three sharp nocks on the wooden door that echoed round the halls. We heard a crisp 'come in', before entering the room. Inside, McGonagall sat behind her desk, eyebrows raised.
