I had went out on a date with Brody. He was too much fun. I gave him a tour around the city, and took him to a small diner out of town where an arcade was connected.

To be honest I had a great day, he joked around with me, didn't make fun of me when I pigged out on food, or be embarrassed when I acted like a child at the arcade, and even defended me when that small 6-year-old fought me for taking his favorite go-cart car.

"Thank you for tonight," ironically I had dropped him off at his house since I didn't want him to get lost and I was the one with the car.

"Don't mention it," I said with a smile and waved. As soon as I saw him get into the house safely I sped out of the neighborhood and back home.

Parking the car in the garage i noticed my parents' cars parked too. With knitted eyebrows I made my way upstairs to Kev's room. He was on his bed talking on the phone with Blake.

"Yes Blake, close the damn company for a couple of days," Kevin said through the phone as he ran his hand over his face in frustration. When he saw me he relaxed a bit and gave me small smile.

I quickly changed into one of his shirts seeing as I was too lazy to go back to my room and waited for him to finish his conversation with Blake. I did not tell anyone about my date with Brody to be honest but I was planning on telling Dean and Jessie.

"Hey," Kev smiled at me warmly and left some space for me to lay down next to his lazy ass. I smiled back at him. He looked tired, and stressed and I had a very bad feeling about it. It was mom and dad who caused that and I really did not appreciate them stressing and tiring my big brother.

"So what did they do this time?" I asked not even elaborating because I am pretty sure he understood what I meant and it put a smile on his face. I was pretty proud of myself.

"Well they just said that I wasn't a good big brother, and I just I am sorry but I am going to go stay at a hotel until they leave," he said sigh in frustration. As usual Kevin was overreacting. He had this tendency of making everything related to our parents seem like a big deal, but I could not blame him they deserved it but I didn't.

Deciding that I wouldn't make a big deal out of nothing I kissing his cheek. "It's okay Kev," I said sighing. Kev had too much to deal with, the company, me, hiring new employees, rivals, and our parents adding more stress makes him weak and so I need to let him do what he thinks is right.

"There's this hotel by the beach, it's private and it's called Montgomery Hotel owned by an old couple and they were our neighbors used to take care of me I'll ask them to clean a room for you for two days," I said knowing my parents wouldn't stay more than one night.

"Why don't you come with me then?" he asked me hopefully. I look at him wondering if I should leave him alone or go with him. He seemed to want me to go and it could be fun so I agreed. Dialing their number I waited a couple of seconds before an excited Teresa answered.

"Honey, I missed you," she said excited that I called her making me smile.

"Hey Teresa, I missed you too," I said sincerely, "I was actually wondering if I could have a nice room for two days, I want to come like in an hour?" I asked hopefully and I heard her chuckle.

"I'll have a penthouse ready for you in half an hour," she said and we said bye before she hangs up.

"Get ready we are leaving in thirteen minutes," I said. It was night but I knew that Kev didn't even want to spend the night so I did what I had to do. Smiling at him I went into my room and got my bag ready with swimming suits, my surfing board was cleaned, some dresses for the crazy parties they had there my makeup and PJ's.
