Father called Jaxon and I to the throne room. Our father was the best warrior in Malara, and Jaxon and I were tied for second best. Even though we were only 20, Jaxon and I were highly trained warriors. WIth our father being the best, we had to be the best too.
When we got to the throne room, our father was there, along with the King and Queen. They all looked very excited, which puzzled me. Father hadn't been this excited since I beat him in a fight.
"I have some very exciting news for you both," the king said.
"What is it your Majesty?" Jaxon asked.
"We have found a new planet with intelligent beings," the King stated proudly.
"Really? What is it called?" I asked, intrigued.
"It is called Earth. It isn't that far away, only a few seconds away by transport with your bracelets," the King told us.
"This is all lovely, but why are you telling us this?" Jaxon asked.
"Because you two will go and explore this new land, decide whether they are hostile creatures or not." the King explained.
I immediately became excited. This was my first real mission! Well, our first mission.
"You leave today, so start packing." Our father told us.
I ran off to go pack, with Jaxon following, chuckling at my behavior.
