Your POV.
Yay today's the championship game. I really wish Cameron could be here today. He's my good luck charm. He's also my boyfriend. We've been dating for three years now. We've been best friends for as long as I can remember. I miss him. Right now he's on tour with his friends. He isn't coming home for another week or so. I'm on the college basketball team and I'm pretty good if I do say so myself. Right now I'm benched because I fell and had gotten a bloody nose. I'm fine now but Coach Morris won't let me back in until the next quarter. The score right now is 57 to 26 our teams winning. I scanned the crowd looking for familiar faces but didn't see any. 😞. I heard Coach yell my name and tell me I'm in. I ran in and got three baskets. The game ended to fast if you ask me. We ended up winning and took home the trophy. Out of nowhere I felt someone pick me up from behind and spin me. I was worried. When the person put me down I spun around and saw Cameron. He had our team colors on his face and he was laughing like the weirdo he is. I smiled and started tearing up a bit because of how much I miss him.
"Surprise!" He said. I smiled and hugged him tightly and started crying because he was home.
"What are you doing here I thought your tour didn't end until next week?" I asked. He pulled away.
"I wanted to surprise you so I told you I wasn't coming home yet. Plus I wanted to plan something for you." He said. The referee handed him a mic.
"Y/n. We've been best friends for as long as I can remember and when I asked you to be my girlfriend and you said yes I was happy so happy I can't even describe the amount of happiness I had that day. I've been wanting to ask you this for so long. And I just couldn't wait anymore." Cam said and got on one knee. "Will you y/f/n do me the honor of becoming Mrs Y/n Dallas?" He asked. I had my hand over my mouth as tears fell from my eyes. I looked around and noticed everyone was still sitting there watching. I grabbed the mic from his hand.
"Yes!" I yelled. Everyone in the audience yelled and cheered. The rest of the guys came running down and hugged you both. You couldn't be happier. You won the game today and you ended up getting engaged!
