The Tragic Truth

Chapter 1

I woke to the annoying sound of the alarm on my phone. "Ughh, JUST SHUT UP FOR 5 MORE FRICKING MINUTES!!" I shouted as I closed my eyes again.
Then my alarm went off again just a second later it seemed like. I grabbed my phone furiously and was about to throw it across the room when I realized it was 7:30 am.
"Crap.... not again" I said. So I threw my covers off to the floor of my messy room and ran to the bathroom to get ready for school while muttering, "How the actual hell can I close my eyes for one second at 6:00 and the next be 7:30?"

After taking a three-minute shower while trying to brush my teeth, it was time to find out what clothes were "clean". "Ok, which smells the best?"
I asked myself while picking clothes off the bathroom floor and examining them, "Ok... this shirt looks OK but... it don't smell too good, oh well, I'll just douse it in cologne." As I'm running out the bathroom door drenching myself in cologne (my step-dads cologne)
I ran headfirst into my step-dad. "James, what the hell are you.... IS THAT MY COLOGNE?!?!!" He yelled at me with fury in his eyes, "Sorry Rob, gotta go" I said while running out the door.

As I'm walking to school I look at the time & see that it's 7:45 already. "Well I'm already late so no need to hurry" I say to myself as I'm fumbling to put my earbuds in. As I'm blasting the music as loud as it goes, Sadness & Despair just come blasting in my head,
"You know you're just gonna fail anyway right? So why even try? You know you're too stupid to even remotely grasp the idea of what the teachers are trying to teach you." Said Despair.
Then Sadness decided to butt in too, "Yeah, besides that, No-one even likes you James, your hair is always a mess, you look WORSE than a homeless person, and you are too damn ugly even look at yourself in the mirror.... just imagine the horror people have to go through just to look at you, not to mention trying to socialize with you..."

I press the + volume button on my phone only to be disappointed that it won't go any higher. Sadness and Despair both laugh together & say "You think you can lose us just by turning up the volume? Hahaha boy you really are dumb." As I arrive at school I look up at the front door and say "Oooo school, Yippeee, another day of hell.... ugh someone make it end already please..." As I'm walking to my class I hear Mr. Carp's (the disciplinary officer who just absolutely loves me) voice coming down the hall. So I ran as fast as I could to the classroom to escape Mr. Carp. "You're late for the 5th time now James" Said my English teacher as I walked into the class,"This time I'm afraid I'm going to have to call the disciplinary officer in. This showing up late business isn't funny at all, So I'm sure you'll have a lot to think about when you're sitting in his office with him calling your parents." Great just effing great I thought to myself. "I told you dummy, I told you no-one really cares, they're just pretending." Sang Sadness and Despair in a singsong voice.

About 5 minutes later, Mr. Carp walks in all gung-ho acting all high & mighty considering he's actually not that big of a guy. "Well James, seems like it's back in my office again huh?" Said Mr. Carp, "Oh yayy I absolutely love your lectures 1st thing in the morning with absolutely no coffee" I said to him as I'm walking out the door. As we're walking to the disciplinary office, I see my friend Nathan sitting in the chair right outside the door of the disciplinary office. As soon as I saw him I started smiling and trying to hold in a laugh trying to figure out what he's gotten himself into now. "What the hell did you do?" I mouthed to him. He replied "He tried giving me a hard about skipping so I told him to eff off." I was trying my absolute hardest not to die of laughter while I'm walking inside the office.

This is my first story I've written in a LONGGG time so be patient with me, I'll try to add a new chapter every day but that'll all depend on if anyone's actually reading it 😂😂😂 add a comment if you liked reading this, I could use the encouragement.
