Alyssa
All I want to do is go home and sleep for the rest of my life.
But no, I have to be at school for an extra hour. After I was finished with serving a short yet very boring detention, I sought my way over to the field because what do ya know, I have to be here longer.
Alexander
It's only been a day since Alyssa was "added" to the team. I don't know if she heard what I had told the team yesterday, but if she did, that would just make this a whole lot more fun.
"Uh, Alex, can I get through real quick?"
I snap out of whatever daze I fell into and look behind me. There was Elliot, standing awkward yet confidently. How does one stand in that way? "Uh, yeah, sure," I say, before walking out back to my locker. Once I was finished changing and I had my stuff together, I walked out of the locker room doors. I turned to the right, to see if Alyssa was still here, and to my surprise, I see her talking to Elliot atop the bleachers.
After I see him walk back down the steps, I stroll right past him, seeing a stupid little smile on face. God, I hate him. I wish I knew what they were just talking about... Once I'm half way up the steps, Alyssa brushes past me and I feel her shoulder collide with mine.
Well okay then. This really will be harder than I originally thought it would be. But no matter. I can charm any girl, no matter how long they rejecet themselves from me, they'll accept eventually. They always do...

The next day, once I got out of the locker room, I see Elliot and Alyssa speaking again. But this time, they were on the bottom of bleachers. Elliot wasn't dressed in his regular clothes and I figured if I wanted to talk to Alyssa alone, I need to get him, well, away from her. I casually lean on the side of the wall next to the locker room's door, crossing my arms as well as my feet. "Gonna get dressed anytime soon, Elli?" I call him Elli because it sounds like a girl's name, and for the fact that he hates it.
I see him roll his eyes. He turns to Alyssa and lowly speaks to her before standing up and walking towards me. "Dick," he mutters, walking through the door. I believe he's afraid of me, since he would never actually say that to my face, aloud. Never has, never will. Then again, we are very different. I'm much more masculine than he, not mention a lot more attractive.
"Hey." Her head snaps up and she immediately glares at me. "Woah, what's that for?" What'd I do to her? I've hardly said five sentences to her.
"You're a dick, you know that, right?" She looks away as I furrow my eyebrows.
"What exactly did I do to you?" I ask, taking a seat next to her on the bench.
"As if you don't already know." Why do girls always say that? Clearly, if I'm asking, I don't know.
"Uh, no I don't know so if you would be so kind as to tell me, that'd be great.."
She gives me skeptical look before replying. "I heard what you said."
"I say a lot of things, can you narrow it down a bit for me or?"
She groans, glancing at me. "About me!"
"And what was it that I said about you?"
"What you said to your team? About me being bad news? About me being a maid? Are you recalling any of this? I mean, you do have a brain, right? Maybe you should learn how to use it."
My eyes widen a bit. She's one feisty chick. I like that about her.
I bit my lip, slowly, and stared at her. She stared right back at me. I could see her caving by the second. Time to work my magic.
"I didn't mean it."
She snaps out of the daze I put her in and gives me a confused look. "You didn't mean what?"
I can see where the confusion came from, figuring we were staring at each other for like two mintues. And, I mean, she was staring at me, so of course she's gonna forget what she was talking about.
"What I said to the team, I didn't mean it."
"Sure you didn't" she retorts, rolling her eyes.
"No, really," I say, taking her hand in mine. "I only said that so they would keep away from you. Most of them would hurt you anyway," I continue as I look at our hands.
She softly bites her lip. "Why would you do that?" Her voice is soft and low. I'm so close.
I purposely let out a shaky breath. "I wanted you for myself." I look into her eyes, not so sure if she actually believes me or not.
She lightly smirks. "Does that mean you like me?" She tilts her head, looking hot as fuck. "That you want to kiss me," she continues, pouting her lips Is she trying to seduce me?
She slowly leans in, looking straight at my eyes while I stare at her soft, red lips.
-
"No way man! You kissed her?"
"Dude!"
"No fair!"
I smirk at the responses. I was about to respond when I see Alyssa opening her locker. I'm lucky that mine is across the hall from hers. "I'll be right back, guys." I walk over to her locker. Leaning against it, I wait for her to close it so that she can see me. It takes about thirty seconds. She looks at me. "Can I help you?"
I stare ahead of me while saying, "let's go out for dinner tonight, yeah? Maybe-"
"Why would I go to dinner with you?" I look back at her and see a look of disgust cross her face.
"Well... We kissed yesterday and I thought-"
"You actually believed that shit? Oh my God, that's gold! How fucking easy do you think I am, God." This girl has a knack for interrupting.
I literally felt my face drop as I hear her laughter. This is gonna be so much fucking harder than I originally thought.
