Sometimes the darkness consumes all sight
But if you look closely youll find a light
Once found it glows oh so bright
Just watch and make your way to safety from the night
Away in a world not so known
You hear the chirps of birds that are grown
They sing and fly with all their might
They themselves have found a light
Sometimes our light is not a "light"
It can be a voice
A toy
A place
A song
But what makes it our light is that it gives us hope
When the darkness consumes our sight
