Instead of going to Starbucks I decided I would go to Simon's hotel. He had told me that I could stop by whenever I wanted to before the weekend, so I'm going to.
I hope he will actually act like a father to make up for all those years and I really hope his new wife is there also. I think it's time that I apologize to her about how I acted at her wedding day.
I took a deep breath before knocking on the door.
"Who is it?" Simon's loud voice asked through the door. I'm probably to short for him to see in the peep hole.
"Uh... It's m.me Katie" I stuttered and I heard him unlock the door.
Surprisingly he answered the door with a big smile.
"Come in" he said stepping out of the doorway. I smiled shyly and walked in. "Go sit on the couch I'll make you some tea"
I made my way to the couch and sat down. It was really fluffy and soft, like a kitty.
Oh, I want a kitty so bad. Or maybe a puppy.
Wait, why in the hell am I thinking about this?
Simon came back with our tea and sat down next to me.
"Thank you" I said and as he handed me my tea. He nodded at me and sipped on his.
"So" he cleared his throat "How have you been, since last time we saw each other?"
"I have been good, how about you?" I questioned.
"Fantastic actually" he said smiling. Wow, he's smiling. "I actually want to tell you something"
"I want to tell you something also" I said laughing nervously "But you go first"
"Well, it turns out that Olivia is about 4 months pregnant!" He exclaimed and I was taken back a bit. I wasn't expecting him to say that AT ALL?!? Wtf?!
Simon still has sex at his age?
"Oh wow" I smiled brightly "I've always wanted a brother or sister"
"I'm glad you're excited" he smiled widely "now what did you want to talk about?"
Should I tell him or not?
I took a deep break "I guess I'm dating Liam"
"You guess?" He questioned.
I ran my fingers through my hair and started explaining what Liam asked me. He listened to me the whole time without interrupting.
"There it is" I said finishing off.
"Do you want my honest opinion?" He questioned and I nodded my head.
"I think if you think it's fair then go ahead and pretend to be with him. But it has to be fair to you." He said "The real question is, can you actually be the girlfriend of a superstar?"
"I think I can" I said confident. "Plus it's going to help Liam. Promise you won't tell him I told you?"
"I promise." He said smiling. "I'll make sure I have a talk with you two, even if it's fake."
Fake.
It's only fake.
"Thanks for listening" I said standing up. I didn't realize so long pasted.
"Anytime you need to talk, just call me" he said smiling.
I did something I didn't expect to ever do. I hugged him, he was surprised at first but he hugged back.
"I love you dad" I said and it felt good saying that. I haven't said that in a long time.
"I love you too"
