Kylies pov
After a hour of waiting for news on Aubrey, I had, had enough, I asked the receptionist tons of times and David even asked a few times but we still had no answers. "Andy if you need to go then I'll keep you updated" I say to Aubreys best friend.
"Thank you Mrs Platt but I would prefer to stay" Andy answers me and David checks the time "will you be alright Ky, I'll go pick the kids up and see if mum will watch them" David tells me and I just nod before hugging and kissing David goodbye.
Another ten minutes went by and I was getting more and more anxious "Aubrey Turners family" I hear a doctor say and i stand up rushing over a him "I'm Aubreys mum, what happened, is she okay, can I to see her" I ramble on.
"First off all would you feel better if we go to the family room?" The doctor asks me and I just let him take me through "first off all I'm Dr James, your daughter is dangerously underweight, we've got her ok in a drip to give her the nutrients she needs and also to keep her hydrated" dr James status
"We also believe in that Aubrey may be anorexic and bulimic. She's got a chest infection at the moment too" DrJames continues and I frown, I couldn't help but blame myself for not getting her seen sooner and I shouldn't have taken no for an answer.
"Can I go and see her?" I ask wanting to see my daughter. "Theirs one more thing, we think Aubrey may Have a nutritional deficiencies which may make her bones break a lot easier and get body will make I harder for her to grow and develop" Dr James tells me.
"Just take me to her" I say wanting to see my daughter "follow me" he tells me as he opens the door and leads me to the room on the child ward where my daughter was laying with a drip in her arm.
I go and sit next to her bed and take her hand gently "it'll be alright Aubs, Mums here now you don't have to be brave any more, your going to get h help you need to get better, me, David, max, lily and Sarah, Bethany and Gail we will all be here for you" I say to my daughter who seemed to be sleeping or unconscious, I wasn't sure.
From David
How's Aubrey doing, have you heard anything back, max is asking where she is and I haven't told him anything yet
I read the read the text from my husband and sigh Max and Aubrey were close and so was Lily and Aubrey.
To David
She's on a drip right now and she's either asleep or she's unconscious I can't tell, you can bring the kids in when she's awake.
I respond, I hated seeing Aubrey like this it was horrible. A mothers job it's to protect their children and look after them but I haven't have I.
Aubreys PoV
I was laying in the hospital bed, I was asleep but I couldn't wake up, I heard mum speaking and felt her holding my hand but I couldn't respond, all I could do was lay in the bed and stay still.
I heard more people enter the room and I have and once again I felt I was being poked and prodded before the people leave the room again.
Kylies PoV
Doctors and nurses kept coming in and out of Aubs hospital room taking blood, doing her blood pressure and they just hanged her drop. I have been here for three hours and Aubrey was still the same.
I sent Andy home and told him I would let him know if anything happens and keep him updated. It was half 5 now and i continued to hold Aubreys hand telling he it would all be alright and then that's when I felt it.
I was holding Aubrey's hand when she squeezed it "Aubs, it's alright" I tell her before shouting for a nurse or a doctor to come help
The doctors rush in and see Aubrey walking up "right Aubrey your okay, your in hospital" Dr James tells my daughter as her eyes flutter open.
Dr James does some tests on my little girl so I get my phone out and text David
To David
Aubrey is awake now, I think she would like to see max and lily. See you all soon if you come.
I then hold Aubreys had and comfort her.
Aubreys pov
My eyes flutter open and I was surrounded by mum and I guess doctors. "Right Aubrey your okay, your in hospital" the doctor tells me. I look around and see a drip into my arm.
"We believe you have anorexia and bulimia" the doctor tells me and I shake my head half heartedly, it wasn't true I was perfectly fine, yeah I may have little energy but I'm fine. "David's brining the kids down to see you" mum tells me and I nod slowly.
About half an hour after mum told me David was coming, he arrived with my brother and sister "Auby" my little sister lily crys seeing me in the hospital, "hey lils don't cry, I'm fine see" I smile to her
Lily shakes her head "no you really poorly" she says softly "daddy told us" she then says to me and I frown, I hated seeing my little sister cry. "Brey please get better soon, who's going to play with me when mummy and David are busy and lilys sleeping" max says coming and sitting next to me and I take his hand "I'll be better in no time I promise MaxyMoo" I sag to my brother even thought I wasn't sure I could keep that promises
Lily wants to sit with me so mum places her on my bed and she snuggles into my side, lily soon looks up to me and I smile at her planting a kiss on her forhead "me want you home" she says in her soft calming tone making me sigh softly letting her snuggle into me again
It was soon kicking out time for the visitors but mum didn't want to leave my side, "I'll be fine I promise" I smile weakly to my mum and she nods "alright I'll be back first thing" she promises me and I nod.
Once the four of them left it gave me time to think, lily wants me home so much and so does max. I need to get better for them and myself.
