This was inspired by the song movements by Pham.
The sun shined right on his face. Skin glowing , his brown eyes were glistening , they looked like a nice chocolate bar. You hated every bit of it. All he did was complain , you were sick of , everyone was at this point.
" Jean , can you take two seconds to shut the hell up?" Eren snapped at him.
Corporal Heichou ordered everyone to clean the dining hall but Jean thought otherwise. Jean loved nothing more than making fun on the short stack leader and mocked him endlessly.
" You're gonna get your ass handed to you one of these days , " you snarled at him , rolling your eyes , " and not just by Corporal. " You dipped the mop back into the water bucket , repeating the swiping motions on the floor.
" Like you'll do anything pipsqueak. " He laughed , taking a seat at the large table. " Get back to cleaning or I'll send you to the stables. "
You've had enough , if this was a cartoon steam would be coming out of your ears. You threw the mop towards Hange.
Everyone paused what they were doing to watch what was about to unfold right in front of them. You rolled your sleeves up and walked over to Jean , without saying a word you gave him a good sucker punch in the face.
" Y/N! Stop it! " Mikasa yelled out.
It was too late , you were in too deep and ready to face the consequences. Jean held his face with his left hand and reached for the bottom of your neck with his right. You ducked and grabbed his collar.
" Listen here hotshot horse , if I hear one more peep out of you I will end you with nothing but my bare hands and feel nothing. "
Jean froze before you got one last kick in the shin in. He fell back onto the table howling in pain.
" Cadet Y/N . " You heard a familiar , emotionless voice speak. " Stables , now. "
Sighing , you made your way out of the room to the courtyard , leaving everyone , including Heichou , speechless.
Y/N 's POV
I huffed as I threw another pile of hay into a stall. Make that horse number 37 fed.
I quietly hummed to myself , I felt good about what happened earlier , I'll have to apologize to Jean about the whole ' killing him with my bare hands and feeling nothing ' part , but he had what was coming for him. It's not good to disobey your superior , plus everyone probably felt the same , maybe.
I decided to take a quick break , sitting next to Corporal's horse , drinking some of my water. I didn't mind stable duty , it was always peaceful and nobody bothered you. It only sticks cause I have to eat alone tonight.
Standing up I pet the horse gently on the neck , I continued humming , not even noticing someone sneaking up behind me.
" Y/N . . "
" Holy Jesus! " I shrieked as I spun around to see Jean standing shyly behind me. " Don't ever do that again. "
He laughed softly. One hand was behind his back while the other was on the back of his neck. " I'm really sorry about earlier."
" Listen , me too , but you should know better than to mock Heichou. " He handed me the flowers from behind him. I laughed softly . " Thank you. "
He smiled gently. " I better get going before I get stable duty. See you later . " And he ran off before I could get another word in.
