"I need some time just deliver the things that I need for now, everything that I feel's like a warm deep calm casting over me and taking me to somewhere new"
Her pale white fingers hit the white piano keys as I watched her in complete awe.
"If you believe that everything's alright you won't be all alone tonight. And I'd be blessed by the light of your company, slowly lifting me to somewhere new"
She had captivated everyone's attention instantly, maybe different in my situation but she still snatched everyone's eyes and mind as soon as she walked across the stage in her black heels, earrings and dress that had beads on the top, a black ribbon around her waist and then skirts that made it look like she was floating on air by the way it moved.
"Oh can you tell, I haven't slept very well since the last time that we spoke. You said 'Please understand if I see you again don't even say hello'. Please."
She was captivated by her own hands, her fingers pressed against the keys lightly and yet the sounds that came out of it made my non-beating heart thud to the rhythm she was playing.
"What a night it is, when you live this. And you're coming up beneath the clouds, don't let me down. All the love's still there I just don't know what to do with it now. You know, I still can't believe we both did some things - I don't even wanna think about. Just say you love me and I'll say 'I'm sorry, I don't want anybody else to feel this way'. No, no, no"
Her voice filled the concert hall and I watched her eyes flutter close as her bare face pulled the tiniest frown that made me beam at how adorable she was because of how into the music she was playing as she leaned forward on her seat, the piano seemed to be apart of her.
And I knew she felt that it was apart of her.
"Oh can you tell, I haven't slept very well since the last time that we spoke. I said 'Please understand I've been drinking again and all I do is hope'. Please... stay. Please stay"
Leaning forward in my chair I had to fight to not fly out of my chair at the pain that was laced in every word she sung - as if she lived through all the pain of a thousand hearts.
My fingers dug into the arm of the red cushioned chair as a tear drops down her face and I felt ill at the sight of it - I wish I could wipe it away, to hold her and to protect her from the pain of reality and the cruel world that surrounds us.
"I'm not strong enough for the both of us, what was I supposed to do? You know I love you. Whoa-oh. Please just stay.... please just.... stay"
She stops and the entire concert hall was filled with silence as the girl froze, as if she just realize she sung and played the piano in front of hundreds, even thousands of people.
Then everyone stood up, cheering and clapping the girl stood and looked at us all before bowing to us stiffly before she hurried off of the stage.
And to think, I almost didn't come because I didn't want to sit through teenagers stupid recital - but it was so worth it. Without coming here tonight I would've missed the opportunity to find my other half.
And she's such a pretty little thing - "Niall, are you alright lad?" Liam asks me and all I could do was smile at the piano.
"I am over the moon Liam"
"And why is that?" Liam asks me in amusement.
"Because that girl is my other half" my non-related brothers turned and looked at me in shock before they all turned to the stage, we need a plan so we can meet with her, we all have a pact.
If one lad meets his other half, the others will help for them to meet and from then on we hope for the best, guess it's my turn now.
Time to meet my beautiful pianist.
