Chapter 3-Goodbye Lucas

-Tessa's POV-
After I saved my joke of an aunt from drowning, the party started to die down and eventually ended. I mean if I was at a party and saw a 15 year old girl dive into a pool and lift her aunt on to a warn out raft, and then pull her out on to the concrete to then watch her flop like a fish I would leave too. Then, my parents, Lucas, Sky, and I stayed up for an hour after everyone was gone to clean and Sky ended up sleeping over.
~The next day~
I woke up to Lucas screaming at the top of his lungs, "I'M FREE, I'M FREE!"

He was sort of correct, he was free from this house, but I wouldn't call being on an army base for who knows how long and not being able to leave free. When I was done listening to Lucas scream about his so called "freedom," I woke up Sky so we could go downstairs to eat breakfast.

I leaned over and whispered,"Wakey wakey eggs and bakey."

Sky then shot up and yelled, "BACON??!!"

"No, I woke you up so we could go get some before Lucas leaves." I said to her.

"Oh.. alright," she said in a disappointed tone.

We then walked downstairs into the kitchen to make ourselves breakfast. Sky pulled out the package of bacon from the fridge and I got out a saucepan. Since we were feeling generous, we made enough for everyone in the house. Once we were done, Lucas came downstairs because he knows when food is out. I was expecting him to run down steal at least 6 pieces and then collapse on the couch but he didn't. Instead, he proceeded to come up not even and inch away from my face and stared at me.

"Okay I knew you were weird, but this is just a whole new level." "Seriously though, what are you doing?" I asked in a disturbed tone.

"Oh me, I'm just taking this moment to remember your ugly face while I'm FREE FROM THIS HOUSE." he responded loudly.

"If it's so ugly why do you want to remember it?" I asked.

"STOP KILLING MY VIBE!" he shouted back at me.

"You set yourself up on that one buddy." Sky said to Lucas.

"You know what?" "I don't need this, I'm going to watch t.v" he said as he walked away.

No "Ok free boy." I yelled as be left.

After that Sky and I sat at the table and ate our bacon until it was time for Lucas to leave. My mom was crying so hysterically I had to wipe up the water on the floor so no one would slip. It was even worse when she said goodbye to him. Then it was my turn.

I simply said," Have fun in the army, I hope to turn your room into my walk in closet. Well, bye loser."

And then he simply replied,"Bye loser, and I will be visiting so I hope you decide otherwise because then I'll be forced to destroy your entire wardrobe."

Sky also said goodbye to him. It was something along the limes of,"Bye Lucas, hope you don't get your leg amputated because then tying your shoe laces together would be no fun."

And then he answered with, "This is why your only friend is my loser of a sister."

We all then grabbed his bags of clothes ans brought them out to the car. He and my dad hopped in and just like that, my only brother was off the fight for our country. Then I remembered something-
