(Kind of new to this whole wattpad thing. Do indents not work? Because this is looking unprofessional without it.)

It was just another one of those days for Jung Taekwoon.

His daily routine started off normally as always; he woke up in a cozy bed, the covers up to his ears, brushed his teeth as normal, greeted his parents as normal, thanked his mother for breakfast as normal, went to his room as normal.

He sat with his kitten, Miko, as normal, petting it behind it's ears softly as he cuddled up against it. He listened intently to his parents farewells as they headed off for a day's hard work as normal before staring at the red string as normal, tugging on it once, twice, and one last time for good measure, having been a small habit of his as a child.

"Miko-ah, are you hungry?" Taekwoon cooed as the black haired kitten nibbled on his fingers, it's small paw keeping his hand in place. His sudden movement to get off the bed made her jump, scrambling to get out of his way. He hummed as he made his way out of his room, going to the cabinets to get a can of cat food.

"Miko!" He called out, waiting for the soft meow that always sounded, as normal. "Miko..?" He called out once again, his feet making it's way to the living room where his kitty would normally be. "Miko-ah?" He cooed. He stood there for a good ten seconds before the normality of his life tipped off balance.

What he was doing right now, was not considered normal.

"Come back!" The soft plea left his lips as he continued to chase down the feline that ran down the alley way. It stopped at the corner before turning back to look at Taekwoon. He continued to approach it slowly, not wanting it to run away again. Just as he leaped over to catch it, the cat jump onto the nearby ledge, disappearing almost into thin air. "Miko!" Taekwoon yelled out, exasperated.

He walked back and forth, biting at his nails as he thought about how much trouble he would be in if he told his parents he lost Miko... and that he went outside the walls he promised to stay behind. His head snapped to the side as he heard a loud crashing sound, one that could be a kitty jumping down onto a something. He followed it, his ears straining to hear the sound again before something weird reached his ears. Was someone crying? What could make someone so happy in an alleyway like this that they cry out of happiness?

He continued down the dark walkway, walking in soft steps to avoid making too much sound.

"Ah! I found y—" Taekwoon stopped short as his breath got stuck in his throat at the sight in front of him.

There was a man pressed against the wall, a inked hand on his mouth and another on his neck. That wasn't the part that scared him the most. His eyes trailed down the red string that was tied around the tainted hands pinky finger, the one that did what seemed like a million loops, only to trail to his own hands. He brought his hand up, staring at the red string of fate  before his eyes flickered back to the black haired man before him. There was no mistaking it.

A sound escaped the other man's lips, fear evident in his eyes as he tried to reach for Taekwoon, only to have his head slammed back into the wall, the hand leaving his lips only to dig itself into his stomach in a sharp jab. The man doubled over, his eyes rolling behind his eyelids as it was a fatal K.O.

"I'll give you three seconds. Three seconds to get the fuck out of here." The inked man said, his glare making shivers run down Taekwoon's spine.

"B-But..." Taekwoon stuttered, raising his hand up to show the man, "L-Look! We're—" He stopped. What was he thinking? The man couldn't see the strings. Did Taekwoon even want the man to see the strings?
