The Adventures Of Spike And Celestia

Part One

It was the early morning of the baby dragon Spikes second birthday he had not yet grown at all because he didn't give into his greed and wouldn't allow it ever to happen again like his first birthday. Dragons grow by becoming greedier so Spike had realized he will stay small forever. Not wanting to repeat last year's event he asked everyone he knew not to get him presents, except for one Pony his dearest friend Twilight Sparkle, he thought that one present wouldn't hurt. Since Twilight was his dearest friend and was praticly raising him he wanted to get her something very special to show his gratitude. Their was only one thing she would find more valuable than anything and it would mean the world to her. He didn't know how to get his claws on it so he decided that he would head for Canterlot and ask the princess for information on obtaining this rare item. He left a note for Twilight saying that he would be in Canterlot for the day. He packed his bag and grabbed some bits from underneath his pillow for a train ticket and incase he needed some bits to get him out of any situation he may encounter. As he walked to the train station his friends all around Ponyville wished him a happy Birthday but remembered his request to not give him gifts. When he got to the train station he asked the ticket manager for a ticket to Canterlot. It was two bits which he was fine with, granted he had sixty seven. As the Pony Express pulled to a stop at the station he waited for ponies to unboard and then he was conducted onto the train. He picked a seat next to the window and towards the exit because he wanted to make this as quick as possible so he wasn't gone from ponyville for too long. He looked out the window as the train started to depart. He loved the scenic view on the way to Canterlot, it almost made the ride seem instant, He got their faster than he would have expected. The train unloaded and their he was standing in the train station all alone, it felt different when he was by himself but he wouldn't be for much longer once he got to the castle he would see more familiar ponies. The walk to the castle was short and uneventful the most exciting thing he saw was twilight's friend Minuette was with Lyra and BonBon he waved to them and they happily waved back. When he got to the doors of the castle he was stopped by two guards who asked him to state his business. He simply said he was going to see the princess for his friend Twilight then let him pass and he was let in to walking down a walkway and turning into the door that lead to the throne room. Princess Celestia seemed surprised to see him without Twilight.
