As spike walked down the throne room Celestia gave him a welcoming smile the guard ponies just stared forward with a smug look on their face. It was apparent they where very serious about their job. When he got to Celestia she asked why he had come to cantorlot all by himself. He smiled and said its for Twilight I wanted to give her a special present on my birthday as a thanks for being their for me. Celestia nodded, then in her realizing she asked why he needed to come all the way to Cantorlot for the gift. He looked at her, well that's my problem I have no idea how to get my claws on what I want to get her I wanted it to be unique and very special. Celestia raised and I brow, What exactly do you want to get her? Spike looked down a bit, Is their any way you can give her Starswirl the Bearded's first spell. She smiled well on a normal occasion I would say know but with Twilight being my faithful student I know that this would mean alot to her, though their is one problem. We don't have his first spell only a copy of it. There is rumor that it is far up north of her in Star swirls first ever home, nopony has yet to journey that far and succeed in getting the rare artifact and if you can some how manage to get it, you may give it to Twilight. Spike nodded he knew just what he must do, he turned and headed for the door he knew he had a long and lonely adventure ahead of him. Just before he got to the door Celestia called out, Spike would you like some company? I believe this would be to hard of a task for you to do on your own. Spike thought she might send some of the guards with him and he needed all the help he could get. Yes he replied in relief that he wouldn't be facing this alone. To his surprise Celestia ordered her planner to clear the day and to tell Princess Luna to watch over the castle while she's gone. Spike couldn't believe what he was witnessing the Princess of Equestria, canceling her plans and joining him on the Adventure. She walked down to the throne room to him. She leaned over and whispered in to his ear, You ready for this? He was so shocked at the Princesses strange behavior that he couldn't respond. She laughed lightly, I take that as a yes? He nodded and they left the throne room and started to walk down the hall towards the main entrance. Once they where outside it seemed slot nicer to see the scenic view of Cantorlot from the castle the sunlight shined on the roof tops some gold plated showing some of the shop owners success.Spike look up and breathed in hard, he had a big journey ahead of him he had to make in a day...he was thankful to have Celestia with him, he didn't understand why she wanted to come.
